According to the UPtv synopsis, reeling from a break-up, professional over-planner Gwen (Brooks) pitches in to help put the finishing touches on her best friend’s wedding. However, when she’s teamed up with best man Josh (May), a free-spirited nature guide, she finds that pulling together this wedding might not be as easy as she thought.

UPtv’s The Wedding Fix premieres on Sunday, March 20, at 7 p.m., Eastern. Encore showings include Sunday, March 20, at 11 p.m., and Thursday, March 24, at 9 p.m., both times Eastern.
Andrea Brooks Describes UPtv’s The Wedding Fix
Speaking on the Hallmarkies podcast, WCTH’s Andrea Brooks shared a bit about making this movie. She filmed it right before they began shooting When Calls The Heart Season 9.
The Wedding Fix is a wedding movie….surprise surprise! It’s directed by the fabulous Canadian director Nicholas Humphries, whom I adore. It stars myself and Patch May, who’s actually an Australian actor who’s been up here in Canada working on lots of little romantic movies. And, he’s a really funny guy.
We have a movie about a wedding crisis, where things start falling apart for the bride and groom. And, then lo and behold it’s up to the best man and maid of honor to kind of fix things.
And, in the process of their bickering and not agreeing upon anything they kind of you know they see if the sparks are flying.
We also shot that in Langley which is where When Calls The Heart is shot.

Andrea Brooks went to Instagram to promote her new UPtv movie, The Wedding Fix. She wrote, “#TheWeddingFix is premiering on @up_tv THIS Sunday at 7pm ET!! Excited for you to see it! ✨✨✨ (#hearties! It starts airing before @wcth_tv! I’ll be on Twitter early!).”
The good news is that Hearties can watch The Wedding Fix after When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 3, “Turn Of The Page.” UPtv will repeat the rom-com at 11 p.m., Eastern.
