‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Fans Wish Tammy Slaton Would Stop Hiding
We may not see another season of 1000-Lb. Sisters for quite some time. But in the meantime, fans can catch up with Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman on social media.
Both sisters have a lot going on in their lives at the moment and they can’t wait to keep sharing major life updates with fans. Amy is preparing to welcome her second child while Tammy continues to make progress in rehab.
However, fans wish Tammy would be a little more upfront with her updates. Keep reading to see what’s going on.
Tammy Slaton loves playing with filters on social media apps
Fans of 1000-Lb. Sisters know that Tammy Slaton went to rehab at the end of the third season. She decided she hit rock bottom and finally decided to take her health journey seriously. As far as we know, she’s in rehab to this day.
The TLC star continues to share videos and photos from rehab — but they’re always heavily filtered. Fans seem to grow frustrated with this and just want to see the real Tammy.
The 35-year-old recently uploaded an Instagram video of herself with another heavy filter.
Some of the comments were kinder than others. But in general, a lot of viewers felt annoyed that Tammy chooses to hide behind filters and never provides any life updates.
One fan suggested that she may not be able to show many updates due to her contract with TLC. They may want to save the big reveal for filming instead. It’s possible TLC may even ask her to use more filters so followers can’t really see her transformation.
If you want to see the video for yourself, you can do that here:
As fans noted, there’s really not much substance to the video. What viewers really want is some kind of update from Tammy, but it may be a while before we get that.
The TLC star shuts down attention-seeking accusations
Since Tammy Slaton checked into rehab, many followers accused her of being “attention-seeking.” However, she shut that down.
“Keep your opinions to yourself because clearly, you don’t know anything about me. Nothing,” the TLC star clapped back in a recent TikTok video. “Just because I f–ked up on TV and didn’t lose my weight does not mean I don’t want to make changes. If I didn’t want to make changes, I wouldn’t be in this facility and I chose to come back here. I chose to get help. I hit rock bottom and I’m making changes. Keep your opinion to yourself because nobody asked for your rude self to mention anything.”
