Mama June Embraces Boyfriend Following His Slammer Release
Mama June Shannon doesn’t always choose the right men. Many fans really hoped she would be better off after splitting with Geno Doak. However, she ended up with someone else who may not be the best influence in her life.
As a recovering addict, Mama June really needs only positive influences right now. That’s why her followers felt shocked and worried when authorities arrested her new boyfriend, Justin Stroud, on drug-related charges.
But now, it seems like Justin is out of jail and reunited with Mama June. Keep reading to learn more about their reunion.
Mama June and Justin Stroud resume their relationship following his release
According to The Sun, Justin Stroud was released from jail on March 16. Mama June happily greeted him as he left the facility. They shared an emotional kiss and embrace. The publication also obtained photos of the happy reunion.
At the time, The Sun reported Mama June and her 34-year-old boyfriend Justin Stroud attended a party in Boca Raton, Florida when the drama began. Authorities had a warrant for his arrest after he violated probation with drugs and burglary charges back in October. The Sun has exclusive images of the arrest taking place. June Shannon can be seen off to the side, visibly distressed.
“Four cop cars came into the venue and started speaking with the valets,” a witness reportedly shared with The Sun. “Next thing you know, police pull into the gas station and they all swarmed in and arrested him. We saw him get taken away.”
During Justin Stroud’s imprisonment, Mama June started sharing cryptic messages online. In one video, she talked about a narcissist and many wondered if she was really talking about Justin. In another video, she called out a fraudster who allegedly ruined their relationship with Mama June.
But based on their happy reunion, it doesn’t seem like those rumors are likely.
The reality TV star returns to the small screen
If you missed seeing June Shannon on your television screen, we do have some good news for you though. She confirmed there will be another season of her show coming to WEtv in May.
She captioned a teaser for the new season, “We will be back in two months. Who’s ready? It’s going [to be] a crazy season. A lot of emotions.”
In the teaser video, she prepares to tell the filming crew about a major secret she’s been keeping. Of course, that’s all we see in the clip. We’ll all have to tune into the new season if we want to know more.
