Anguished Tom Schwartz Spotted After Confirming Split

Tom Schwartz is not happy with Katie Maloney’s decision to end their marriage. TV Shows Ace reported the news of their split on Tuesday night. Both Katie and Schwartz took to their respective Instagram pages to share the news with their followers. The two have been the center of split rumors for the past few weeks.

Schwartz made it clear that he wasn’t the one who pulled the plug. It was Katie who wanted to end their marriage. The former couple asked for privacy during this time. Yet, fans know their marriage problems will be chronicled on the tenth season of Vanderpump Rules.

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz announce their split

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz talked about starting a family together in Season 9. However, they “never got around” to having kids. Last month, Schwartz shared an update on his and Katie’s family plans. At the time, the 39-year-old felt it’s “never too late” to have kids.

“Time will tell,” Tom Schwartz told Us Weekly at a Sports Illustrated event on Saturday, February 12. “I don’t know [when].”

While he wouldn’t share details, Schwartz said that Katie would make an “incredible mom” one day. He also said that he loves kids. They just “never got around” to start a family. Schwartz revealed that he’s a “plant daddy” who’s “obsessed with plants.”

Since then, the couple has been the center of split rumors. Fans noticed that Katie has been without her wedding ring. Also, she’s been spotted without her husband at public events and special occasions. It’s as if Tom Schwartz and Katie have been living separate lives.

On Tuesday, the couple confirmed their split after 12 years together. The 35-year-old Bravo star was the first to share the news. Schwartz admitted that he didn’t want to share the news in a “f***in canned Instagram caption.” He’s also afraid to say the “D-word.”

Tom Schwartz looked distressed in the new photos published on The Sun. It’s his first sighting since the former couple announced their split. Schwartz wore a red T-shirt with gray shorts in Los Feliz, California. He paired his look with reflective sunglasses and a black baseball cap.

Schwartz looked downcast during the sighting. Unlike his estranged wife, he still wore a wedding ring. Yet, he tried to hide his hand away from the photographers when he saw them. Schwartz was there with his friend Tom Sandoval, who wore an all-black outfit.

The two co-managers left a restaurant. The Pump Rules star kept removing his hat to hold his forehead, much like he does when he’s stressed out. Schwartz looked distracted during the sighting.
