What Is When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 5 About?
The When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 5 episode is called “Journey Into The Light.” According to the synopsis, Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) has to deal with the school inspector, August Landis (Todd Thomson). Turns out, her new accreditation she obtained to teach Angela (Vienna Leacock) came into question.
In addition, Nathan (Kevin McGarry), and Lucas (Chris McNally) decide to race. This is man v.s. machine. Who will win?

When Calls The Heart’s Lucas, Nathan Compete
This first photo of Nathan and Lucas seems to be at the heart of When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 5. This could very likely be the scene that the two decide to see who wins a race! However, we don’t know what sort of “machine” Lucas will be racing.
Here, in this photo, a clean-shaven Nathan Grant is waving what is presumably a crowd of Hope Valley spectators. Both horse and Mountie look like they are fully healed from their earlier mishap with a vehicle.

Jaeda Lily Miller Is Back In When Calls The Heart As Allie Grant
Allie Grant is back on When Calls The Heart. Although she may be in an earlier episode, this is the first official Season 9 solo photo of Nathan’s daughter.
Allie is hanging out with the Canfield kids, Angela (Vienna Leacock), and Cooper (Elias Leacock). In this episode, Angela may be center stage, considering that Elizabeth’s credentials are in question, in regards to teaching this young student.
The Women Around Nathan
Before When Calls The Heart Season 9 began, Kevin McGarry shared that there were three possible women for Nathan to date. They include Mei, Faith, and Fiona. However, he did also say that Nathan is going to have some issues letting go of Elizabeth.
However, it is very likely that these Hope Valley ladies are watching the race in this photo.

Although Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith) has recently had some disappointing news, there is no doubt that Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) will figure out something to not only keep him busy but to help her with her newspaper business.
However, before the season began, Kavan did share that When Calls The Heart Season 9 will see a solution to the Coulters starting a family.
