Duggar Family Roasted For Bizarre Beach Attire In Resurfaced Photo
An old photo of the Duggar family at the beach has resurfaced, and fans have a lot to say about it. The family is now being roasted for dressing so inappropriately for a beach trip.
If you’re a Duggar fan, you probably know about their strict modesty rules. They wouldn’t wear regular swimwear to the beach because they believe that modesty is very important. So, you wouldn’t expect to see them wearing bathing suits to the beach. But the outfits they chose to wear to the beach seem especially odd, fans think. Stick around to see the photo. 
In an Instagram post in 2018, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar gave fans an update on their trip to New Zealand. They shared a gallery of pictures from the vacation and wrote, “We have had a great time in New Zealand so far! Check out some of our pictures!”
In one photo, Jana, James, and Justin are standing on the beach together. The eldest Duggar daughter is wearing a skirt that falls below her knees with slip-on sneakers, a tee-shirt, and a zip-up hoodie. James is wearing a tee-shirt, jeans, and boots. On the far right, Justin is in a Duggar Studios shirt paired with pink striped shorts and Converse sneakers.
The trio of siblings is standing on the beach and smiling for the picture. It looks like they went to watch the sunset rather than soak up the sun and play in the sand and the ocean.

Someone reposted this photo to Reddit this week and sparked a conversation about the Duggar family’s clothing choices for their trip to the beach. They don’t like the shorts that Justin is wearing. Others think it’s bizarre that James would wear jeans to the beach.
A Duggar critic writes, “Guy is standing there on the beach in dark wash jeans and work boots and you’re calling out the shorts?”
One user says, “I cant believe we’re only discussing the shorts.. the pants.. the skirt.. just everything here.”
Another Duggar family snarker points out Jana’s outfit. They write, “Better grab my modest beach skirt—Jana.”

What’s the big deal. The duggers are dressed pretty modest if you ask me. No tank tops or bikinis. They are on holiday and just relaxing. This God loving family is dressed more modest then what anybody see’s today. Let them enjoy there trip and leave there clothing choices alone. Have a great trip Duggers enjoy God Bless.
I totally agree Please leave these people alone. They are a family like everybody else. They go through problems and ups and downs like everybody else. Just because people may be dressed a bit differently than what is the accepted norm doesn’t make them one bit different than anyone else.There is absolutely nothing wrong with being modest. Even the fact that this article was printed to garner attention sickens me. There are so many more important things going on in the world right now and then what a persons wearing.
It doesn’t matter what we think on what they wear, and why should it matter… if that is what they chose so be it who are we to say what is appropriate or not for them… there is so much more wrong in this world and you choose to make fun of or belittle a family over their clothing choices…. This is ridiculous you writers need to get a life… I think they look great God Bless your family enjoy your time with your family and have a great time on your vacation… all you other people who are tearing them down crawl back under your rocks…
I agree with Christina. Not everybody wants to run around showing off there stuff (body parts). Ppl need to start minding there own business and find something better to do with there time
They went to the beach to watch the sunset not go swimming. So what is the problem. My family and I have went to the beach multiple times in similar attire with shorts or pants and a t-shirt. Took my daughter a couple time in a dress when she was younger. It is very common when just going to watch the waves , watch the sunset/sunrise, or walk the beach with or without our feet being in the edge of the water. Everyone attacks them about so many different things now we r going to attack them over doing something that is actually normal? Give me a break!
I think it’s pathetic to always find something wrong about them. MAYBE it was chilly that day. GRRRrrr people frustrates me. I would wear jeans to the beach. Anything just to complain about. Just speak the truth everybody’s problem is really with josh. But trying to find every which way to find something wrong with the others. GET A LIFE stop being haters. It actually makes y’all look stupid. Always complaining about them.
I normally don’t comment on things, but this is ridiculous! Why do people care what they wear? Just because they don’t walk around half dressed or showing as much skin as possible without being considered fully nude. Leave The Diggers alone. Our word is full of questionable things, the clothes they wore to the beach shouldn’t be one of them. Sure they are human and make mistakes like everyone, but they are truly good, modest, christians. So please don’t bash them for staying true to who they are.
There human just like anyone else. They took a family vacation. Obviously they didn’t go to the beach to swim. There are many people that go to the beach and don’t swim. It’s not odd at all to see someone wear jeans, hoodies, skirts, and sneakers to the beach. Especially when it’s chilly. We don’t know what the weather was like when they went to New Zealand.
