While Amy undoubtedly needs some help with her social media presence, she has been providing followers with regular updates about her pregnancy. In fact, she has been posting weekly updates with screenshots of her “What to Expect” app.

The final episode of Season 3 of 1000-Lb. Sisters aired on January 31. Since then, TLC has not made any announcements about when the sisters will return. Her sister, Tammy Slaton, has expressed that she would like to continue filming the show. Tammy’s health took a turn for the worse at the end of the third season though. She has been in a rehab facility working on losing enough weight to undergo bariatric surgery.

This has fans questioning whether or not the show will be returning to the network later in 2022. Typically, big details like Amy’s pregnancy would be covered under a non-disclosure agreement for 1000-Lb. Sisters. NDAs help networks like TLC prevent stars from leaking details about the show or giving away any information. So, is she breaking an NDA or is she really taking a step back from the show?

Will ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Return To TLC This Year?

Right now, there has been no confirmation as to whether the show is returning for a fourth season or not. It isn’t entirely clear whether or not Amy is breaking any nondisclosure agreement by sharing information about how her pregnancy is progressing. The fact that she’s been sharing so much information about the pregnancy and her family gives fans the feeling that she may not come back to the show.

Her sister has taken a hiatus from social media for a little while, but recently returned and began answering questions from followers. Tammy hinted at a Season 4 in a recent TikTok response. She said that followers would have to wait for a weight update during the next season, something that would definitely be covered under an NDA. There still haven’t been any official announcements from the network though.

Thankfully, Amy Halterman and Tammy Slaton have both been providing small updates on their lives for fans on social media. Until Season 4 is confirmed, followers will be able to get news via the sisters’ socials or get their fill of the 1000-Lb. Sisters through re-runs.
