Monday Night Raw kicked off with a salute to the life of Scott Hall who passed away earlier in the day. Edge cemented his new attitude with a change of theme music and a message to AJ Styles. Seth Rollins presented an idea for a potential Wrestlemania match, much to the chagrin of Kevin Owens. Finn Balor clashed with Damian Priest in a non-title match. WWE Raw: 3 Must-See Moments
Seth Rollins and KO clash
Kevin Owens attempted to give Seth Rollins a pep talk about getting to Wrestlemania. Rollins made his way to the ring with excitement and called Owens to the ring. Rollins explained that he wanted to take Owens’ place in interviewing Steve Austin at Wrestlemania. Both men argued in the ring until Sonya Deville announced that the two would have a match and the winner would host the show at Mania.
Edge’s new music and attitude
With Wrestlemania less than three weeks away, Edge made sure to make his message clear. The Rated-R Superstar came to the ring with a change of music, “The Other Side” by Alter Bridge. Edge promised that the old Edge was gone and that in its place is an unbeatable legend. He promised to make AJ Styles pay at Wrestlemania and walk out as the clear top dog of the WWE Universe.
Crashing the Party
The Street Profits crash RKBro celebration
Last week on WWE Raw, Randy Orton and Riddle regained the Raw Tag Team Championship. In celebration, Randy Orton put on a party to show his appreciation for his tag partner and friend. During their celebration, RKBro were met with unwelcome guests in the form of The Street Profits. The Street Profit demanded a title shot at Wrestlemania, however, Randy Orton was quick to push back. After a shouting match between both sides, Riddle and Montez Ford were quickly signed to a match. During the match, the Alpha Academy rushed the ring to beat down both teams.
