Kody Brown’s Massive Hypocrisy Told By Son Paedon?
Kody Brown has proven his hypocrisy time and time again. He claimed he was very much into plural marriage yet his loyalty has only been with one wife. Furthermore, when the pandemic hit, he had stringent rules for his wives and kids. Yet, he and his fourth wife Robyn had no problem bringing in an outsider to be their nanny. The mixed messages have driven his family and fans of Sister Wives up a wall. Now, one of his most outspoken children, Paedon may be calling his dad out on something that is both controversial and hypocritical all at once.
Kody Brown Versus His Children
Having eighteen kids is not out of the norm for a plural family especially when you have four wives. It appears that all of the Brown kids followed the rules until they left the home. True feelings towards Kody as a father really came out when the pandemic hit in 2020 during Season 15. He laid out strict rules for the entire family and it was extremely hard. Prior to the outbreak, Janelle had managed to gather the adults for a dinner to address communication issues hoping they could resolve issues. It never happened.
Coyote Pass had yet to be built on and a typical polygamist family would have been quarantined together. Unfortunately, there were so many ripples, this was undesirable. Janelle and Christine believed they were okay as they followed the CDC guidelines but they led active lifestyles. Plus, Christine had children who lived in other states and she still wanted to see them. As for Janelle, two of her sons were involved in their lives with Garrison working and saving for a home. Gabe was in college, had a girlfriend, and did not want to deprive him of this.
Due to this, Kody would not come around Janelle’s and barely went to Christine’s as he felt they were putting the family at risk. This led to a lot of conflict between him and his sons. Apparently, more of his children were not happy with him and it has come to the point where he is not on good terms with Garrison and Gabe. He admits they need therapy with Christine’s son Paedon sharing he and his father are not doing well. Now, Paedon has shared some information fans feel directly contradicts Kody’s strong COVID safety protocols.
Paedon Tells All
Kody instilled exorbitant fear into his whole family over COVID yet it was the nanny who brought it into the home. He went to great lengths to keep them apart but now Paedon Brown is calling out his father for not truly being safe. Apparently, he shared that his father is not vaccinated against the virus despite all of the rules and regulations he set forth. Yes, Kody had COVID but he is well past the time allotted to get the vaccine after having it.
A Reddit thread was created to talk about Paedon’s revelation. “I really think it was Robyn who was so scared of COVID and Kody went along with it for the excuse of keeping the family apart,” one Redditor commented. “Kody is committed to doing whatever it takes to protect his family from covid, except for the one thing it takes,” added another.
