Did Clayton Echard Choose The Fantasy Suite Date Order?
There’s been a lot of talk about Clayton Echard’s actions during Fantasy Suites. It got fans wondering, how much control did he have? Could he choose the fantasy date order? With Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast Off the Vine, Clayton talked about what happened and how it affected him. Watching the show back was painful for him in more ways than one.
When Susie Evans let Clayton know she didn’t appreciate him sleeping with the other two girls, she was sent home. Fans have been on both sides as they usually are. Some wonder why Susie and others like her go on these shows where the leads are dating more than one person. Evans has been catching heat for the way everything went down and he doesn’t appreciate it.
Clayton Echard Doesn’t Think He Handled It Well
Kaitlyn Bristowe quickly pointed out to Clayton Echard that she slept with more than one person on her season. She told him she was in a dark place and got dragged on the internet, according to US Weekly.
Clayton told her he didn’t think it was going to be as bad watching it all happen. He admitted he’s not in a great place right now. Echard thinks he handled Susie immaturely and let his emotions run away with him.
When asked if Susie had her date first, does he think things would have gone differently, Clayton says he doesn’t know how to answer that question and he’s not sure.
Did He Pick The Order Of Fantasy Suites?
Clayton said he didn’t pick the order, but he went along with what was chosen for him. He said, “They came in and they said, ‘We think you should do this way,’ and they convinced me. … They’re like, ‘You need to keep your other options open, you need to keep everything open, so don’t close off.'” Echard said they told him if Susie went first, he’d close off so he agreed with them.
On the other side of things, some fans think Susie should have told him how she felt before it ever got to the point where it was too late.
Clayton said she didn’t mention it to him. She told him to fully explore the other relationships, and so he did. He said his mistake was assuming real-world rules didn’t apply. Clayton also revealed he’s getting a lot of hate. They are emailing him and they’ve even found his phone number. He said of all the guesses for how his season ends that he’s seen online, no one has gotten it right.
