Tammy Slaton Shuts Down Attention-Seeking Accusations
As far as 1000-Lb. Sisters fans know, Tammy Slaton is still in rehab. By the end of Season 3, she felt ready to get on a healthier path and we believe she’s still there to this day.
Tammy claims she’s making a lot of progress, but some fans aren’t so sure. Some of Tammy’s followers claim she’s wasting time in rehab and is just seeking attention instead.
Unfortunately, a lot of these hateful comments got back to the TLC star. She definitely had something to say on the subject.
TLC star Tammy Slaton has had ENOUGH of the online negativity
Tammy Slaton has always been active on social media. Even since she started her rehab journey, she keeps in touch with fans on Instagram and TikTok. The 35-year-old particularly enjoys posting pictures and videos with fun filters.
But that doesn’t sit right with some fans who don’t believe she’s taking the process seriously. A lot of them leave incredibly rude comments on the posts. And Tammy’s had enough.
“Tammy will never change because Tammy doesn’t want to change,” the original comment read. “She gets more attention the way she is and to Tammy negative attention is better than [none].”
“Keep your opinions to yourself because clearly, you don’t know anything about me. Nothing,” the TLC star clapped back in a new TikTok video. “Just because I f–ked up on TV and didn’t lose my weight does not mean I don’t want to make changes. If I didn’t want to make changes, I wouldn’t be in this facility and I chose to come back here. I chose to get help. I hit rock bottom and I’m making changes. Keep your opinion to yourself because nobody asked for your rude self to mention anything.”
Let this be a lesson to followers — if you leave hateful comments for Tammy Slaton, she may very well put you on blast.
What’s actually driving the TLC star’s behavior?
As we previously noted, Tammy Slaton may not be the villain 1000-Lb. Sisters paints her to be. The 35-year-old definitely isn’t always kind and does get under her family’s skin from time to time — but she is also in a significant amount of pain. It’s really tough to keep an upbeat attitude when you don’t feel well.
Is it possible that Tammy’s health issues are causing her to act out? It’s definitely something to consider.
