Does Serene Russell Want To Be ‘The Bachelorette’?
As The Bachelor gets ready to wrap up, fans can’t wait to know who will be the next lead for The Bachelorette. One name that has come up a lot is Oklahoma City native Serene Russell. Fans loved her during Clayton Echard’s season of the show. Many were disappointed when he sent her home following hometown dates. But, even if producers selected her for the job, would Serene want to be The Bachelorette?
Does Serene Russell want to be The Bachelorette?
There are a lot of people cheering for Serene Russell to be The Bachelorette. However, if she doesn’t want to then it doesn’t even matter. So, is Serene interested in taking on the leading role?
US Weekly shared what Serene had to say about possibly being named The Bachelorette for the 2022 season. She said, “I definitely am open to the right opportunity to find love.” The 26-year-old added, “That being said, if it felt like it were the right situation for me, it felt like it was meant for me, I would do a lot of thinking and all of that, but if it felt right, I would probably do it if it meant that I would find my person.”
Serene also said she would have to consider if she could handle dating that many men at once. She noted she didn’t know how Clayton had done it, especially getting screamed at on the Women Tell All.
She also said, “So I think that it’s definitely a lot more intense than people think it is and that’s something to think about.”
Even if Serene does not get the leading role there is still good news for all her fans. Serene did say she’s open to finding love on Bachelor in Paradise. Clayton has previously said that he has a lot of men asking about her and Teddi Wright.
Who do some others want to see as The Bachelorette?
A few of the other contestants weighed in on who they would love to see as The Bachelorette. The most brought up names were Gabby Windey and Susie Evans.
Jesse Palmer and Clayton Echard weighed in on the subject saying there were far too many good choices for the next lead. Clayton said he wouldn’t feel comfortable just picking one.
