TLC viewers generally have pretty strong feelings about the show Dr. Pimple Popper. Some absolutely love seeing Dr. Lee tackle wild growths, lumps, and more. Others just can’t stomach it. But either way, there will be a new episode out on Wednesday.

There will be a larger-than-life growth on the latest Dr. Pimple Popper episode

Dr. Pimple Popper viewers have definitely seen quite a few gnarly things over the years. But the patient in the upcoming episode has something very interesting. He has a massive growth on his forehead that’s been growing for a quarter of a century.

“Todd’s bump has been growing for over 25 years, but he’s reluctant to ask for help! Dr. Lee takes the case Wednesday at 9/8c on a new #DrPimplePopper,” the official TLC account posted on Instagram.

“My name is Todd, I’m 53-years-old, and I have a bump on my head,” Todd says in the promo. The large growth is noticeably protruding from his forehead. He goes on to describe the growth as having a spongey consistency.

According to Todd, the bump continued to grow as time went on. But he chose not to see a doctor because he had a lot of anxiety about the situation. So what can Dr. Pimple Popper do to ease his mind?

Viewers hope Dr. Lee can come up with a solution and ease Lee’s pain. In the promo, he also says that the bump is painful. He rates it about a seven on the pain scale.

How much do these services typically cost?

If you love hearing about the latest Dr. Pimple Popper news, you might be curious to know how much a session with Dr. Lee will cost.

According to The Sun, ” Dr. Sandra Lee has a consultation fee that is about $120 per visit. This consultation fee can then be applied towards any other services that Dr. Sandra Lee offers. A benign extraction, which isn’t covered by medical insurance, typically runs between $500 and $600.”

However, the publication also adds that patients that agree to appear on the show generally have the costs paid by the production company. But if a patient doesn’t want to appear on the show but desperately needs treatment, Dr. Lee has an alternative.

“I’ll do the extractions for free if my patients let me videotape and use the video,” she revealed. “Of course, I make them anonymous and remove anything identifying.”
