Did Kody & Robyn Brown Do More Than Just Kiss Before Marriage?
Kody was seen courting his fourth wife Robyn Brown when Sister Wives first premiered in 2010. They appeared to be following the polygamist standards. Typically, there is to be no physical contact or intimacy until the wedding night. Unfortunately, viewers were taken aback when Kody was seen kissing Robyn when his third wife was in labor with his thirteenth child. Now the question has been raised if Kody and Robyn actually did more than kiss prior to their wedding.
Kody And Robyn Brown- Always Together
As seen in the series premiere, Christine was pregnant with Truely as Kody was courting his fourth wife. There was a lot of adjusting for the family to do. He would make the few-hour drive every couple of weeks to see Robyn, occasionally bringing some of his kids with him. They would have nice dinners out and she admitted she felt he was her soul mate. The same night Christine went into labor with Truely, Kody was out with Robyn. He was filmed kissing her, despite not yet being married to her. Viewers were livid that he was not with Christine as she was pregnant but out with Robyn instead.
When Truely had her kidney issues, Kody was napping at Robyn’s. She was the one who woke him up to go to the hospital. It seems there is a pattern here. Her home was the one he spent the most time in during the pandemic and it looks like they have the only functioning marriage. Kody stopped being intimate with Meri a decade ago and he admitted he and Janelle are not in love anymore. The lack of intimacy is also why Christine left the marriage. So, taking it back to 2010- were Kody and Robyn doing more than just kissing? Their present would say a lot about the past.

A Reddit feed has gone around about Kody and Robyn Brown, leading back to the first camera kiss. Many are still upset he did this when Christine was in labor. It actually went back to the couple kissing right after they got engaged with Christine being upset over that. The two had only courted for five months compared to Christine’s two months. Yet, Christine did not engage in anything until she was married as she felt inappropriate kissing a married man (he had two wives already).
One Redditor felt that since the other wives abstained from kissing Kody, Robyn should have had the same respect. It is unclear if they did more than a kiss at this point but if they broke the kissing rule, it would be no surprise to fans if they broke that rule, as well.
