Amy Halterman is pretty excited to welcome her second son into the world right now. In fact, she recently revealed she just passed the halfway mark in her pregnancy. Her next baby will arrive this summer. But she’s also happily sharing milestones about her firstborn, Gage Halterman in the meantime.
1000-Lb. Sisters fans will always have a soft spot for Gage in their hearts. It was so exciting to see Amy Halterman become a mother after years of trying.
So what milestone did Gage recently hit?
Amy Halterman implies that Gage is growing up quickly
When 1000-Lb. Sisters viewers first met Amy Halterman, she believed her weight was the reason behind her fertility problems. But once she lost some weight on her own, her physician approved Amy for bariatric surgery. Shortly after the surgery she and her husband Michael realized they were pregnant with Gage.
Amy wanted to be a mother more than anything, so it really was a dream come true for the TLC star.
Little ones are adorable, but they don’t stay little forever. Amy Halterman recently posted that Gage is growing up — and quickly. Gage is a little over a year old, but it seems like he’s already outgrowing his 12-month outfits.
“Gage rocking his 18mo outfit. Little big in him but 12mo are getting small…” Amy captioned an Instagram post. In the photos, little Gage is wearing an adorable outfit featuring the Tasmanian Devil from the Looney Tunes franchise.
Can you believe that Gage will be two-years-old this November? And this birthday will be even more special because he will have his younger brother to celebrate with him.
Will the Haltermans be part of the show’s fourth season?
It appears that 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 4 is happening. But can we expect to see Amy and her family return? She said in previous interviews that the rough filming schedule makes it hard for her to be a parent.
We don’t actually know much about Season 4 yet, or if the Haltermans will participate. But fans really hope they will. They love seeing baby Gage on the show and really want to have a chance to see the new baby grow up too.
But either way, Amy Halterman did confirm that this will be her last child. A third child just isn’t in the cards for Michael and Amy. She revealed on her YouTube channel that the second baby will be a C-section and she’s going to get her tubes tied during the procedure.
