The amount of time Davidson is spending on Keeping Up With the Kardashians reportedly has Pete’s bosses at Saturday Night Live a little nervous. Per The Sun, SNL is worrying that Pete will quit the show this year to follow the Kardashian family life. Pete has always been a popular and crucial piece to the SNL family. However, in the past several months Pete’s popularity has skyrocketed due to girlfriend Kim.

Pete Davidson Is A Hot Ticket

Hollywood Life claims that SNL bigwig Lorne Michaels’ biggest fear is losing Pete Davidson. Sources claim that Michaels would love him to stay on the show.

A source said, “He’d love to have him for years to come and especially for the upcoming 50th anniversary of the show.”
NBC and Saturday Night Live will be celebrating the big anniversary in 2025. They are hoping to reunite both old SNL icons as well as the newer ones for a super appreciation celebration.

The source continued, “Lorne fears that he will lose him [Pete] but he is going to do all he can think of to keep him around. Convincing Pete to stay though might be tougher than expected.”

They add, “Lorne really would love nothing more than to have Pete stay on the show forever if he wanted. He would love Pete to take the same path as Keenan Thompson and be able to do the show and do other things that interest him, But, Lorne is not stupid.”
