Raquel Leviss is on a health and wellness journey amid her split from James Kennedy. The Vanderpump Rules star revealed that she joined the 75 Hard Challenge. The blonde beauty kicked off her journey on March 1, 2022. She’s been dedicated to the challenge ever since then.
Raquel wants to change her lifestyle after ending her engagement with James. The duo announced their split in December 2021. Since then, Raquel is focusing on self-care and therapy. She also announced to her fans that she started a new daily routine.
VPR star Raquel Leviss starts March off strong
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Raquel Leviss took her Instagram feed and Stories to talk about her new journey. She started the 75 Hard Challenge. The program is described as a “transformative mental toughness program.” (More on that later.) Raquel has been sharing photos and videos from her daily challenge.
On day two, she posted a photo of herself walking her dog, Graham Cracker, which she shared with James. Raquel wore a tan bra with beige shorts and a sweatshirt tied around her waist. She finished off her look with sunglasses and white trainers. The SUR-ver gave the peace sign in the photo.

Over the weekend, James Kennedy’s ex-fiance posted a series of bikini photos to her Instagram feed. Raquel wore a pastel bikini in a dizzy pattern. The two-piece showed off her snatched waist and round botom. In her post, Raquel admitted the body insecurities she faced during her photoshoot.
“5/75 Today shooting for Nana Macs I was a little nervous to shoot swimwear but I actually had the best time shooting swim,” Raquel Leviss wrote. “I’m proud of myself for sticking with the #75hardchallenge and I have no doubt I will reach by #bodygoals within the next 70 days (hopefully I can stick with it!!) 💪🏼”
What is the 75 Hard Challenge?
The 75 Hard Challenge is not your ordinary fitness program. According to the website, founder Andy Frisella calls it a “mental toughness program” that he’s discovered during his “20 years of intensive study and real-life experience.” The program requires taking a 5-minute cold shower, drinking 4-liters of water, following a consistent diet, working out twice a day for 45 minutes each, taking progress photos, and reading 10 pages of nonfiction per day.
There have been concerns with the 75 Hard Challenge. For example, Frisella doesn’t recommend a certain diet. He just doesn’t allow alcohol or “cheat meals,” but doesn’t specify what qualifies as a cheat meal.
Also, one of the workout sessions must take place outdoors. Frisella doesn’t explain why. He also doesn’t reference any fitness, health, or therapy sources in his program.
While it’s not dangerous, it can have an impact on your mental and physical health, notes Cosmopolitan. Other than that, the program is about finding out what works best for you. You can choose which diet and exercise you like the most. However, exercising for 90 minutes a day isn’t safe or possible for everyone. Per the Mayo Clinic, 30 minutes of moderate exercise per day is recommended.
