WWE Smackdown: 3 Must-See Moments

Sami Zayn’s Wrestlemania Challenge
It was just two weeks ago when Sami Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Zayn has been gloating ever since and thought his match against Ricochet would be a breeze. The match was competitive, with both Zayn and Ricochet getting time to shine. In the end, Johnny Knoxville’s music hit and the “Jackass” star came to the ring with a t-shirt mocking Sami. Knoxville was able to side-set an attack by Zayn allowing Ricochet to hit a Frankensteiner for the win and title.

Sami Zayn was visibly upset in the back. Zayn went on to challenge Johnny Knoxville for a match at Wrestlemania. Later in the show, Knoxville was interviewed by Kayla in the back where he addressed Zayn’s challenge. Knoxville pushed back against Zayn’s trash talk and accepted his challenge for a match at Wrestlemania.

Roman runs down Lesnar
Rick Boogs played Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring before both men were attacked by The Usos. With Nakamura and Boogs out of the way, Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns made their way to the ring. Reigns got on the mic and explained that both he and Brock Lesnar will be defending their titles this weekend at MSG. The Universal Champion claimed he would walk out a champion, but doubted Lesnar’s ability to do the same.

Ronda makes Charolotte tap
In the main event of WWE Smackdown, Ronda Rousey defeated Sonya Deville. After the match, Charlotte Flair came to the ring and engaged in a shouting match with Rousey. Flair attempted to attack the former UFC Champion but fell victim to a takedown. Rousey applied Flair in an ankle lock, forcing her to tap out as the show came to a close.
