‘When Calls The Heart’s’ Erin Krakow Dishes On Lucabeth’s Romance

Now that Season 9 is premiering, there is a promise of new love and romance. What should Hearties expect?

When Calls The Heart Season 9 will premiere on Sunday, March 6. Deidre Behar from ET is back again. She has interviewed the cast about the upcoming season.
The number one question is what will Lucas and Elizabeth’s relationship be like now that they are officially courting?
Erin Krakow has revealed that this is a blossoming love. Moreover, Elizabeth has Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich).
We see that they have progressed in their relationship a bit. There’s still that excitement about new young love, really, and we’re getting to explore more of what that relationship is in a family dynamic with little Jack, and what that relationship is like in their private, more intimate moments together.
But, the relationship is not only about a family-like love. Erin promises that it is passionate.
It is a relationship that is fueled by care and respect and understanding, but also a fair amount of passion. They’re not holding back, I’ll say that.
Erin Krakow Says Lucas With Little Jack Is A ‘Heart Melt’
Already, there have been some photos from When Calls The Heart Season 9 that show Elizabeth and Lucas very close together, and very cozy.
However, Erin Krakow revealed that there is something very important happening in the new season that is the ultimate “heart melt.”
If Lucas is playing with Little Jack or putting him to bed, or whatever the case may be, she’s falling deeper and deeper in love with him because he’s not just the studly guy who owns the saloon. He’s the studly guy who owns the saloon and is great with her son.
This sounds like the dynamics between Lucas and Little Jack are going to give Elizabeth more insights into her new love’s personality. Moreover, it allows her to see him in a brand new way.
Erin Krakow even joked at how this may make Hearties feel.
It probably gets the ovaries going. I would think. Can I say that?
When Calls The Heart Season 8 Didn’t See Baby Jack, Lucas Together
What Erin Krakow seems to be indicating is that When Calls The Heart Season 9 will give Hearties a whole new perspective on the saloon owner.
We have seen him wheeling and dealing in business. We have seen Lucas woo Elizabeth. But, we have not been able to see him as a potential father.
During Season 8, Krakow and McNally were concerned about the lack of time that Lucas and Baby Jack were together.
Showrunner John Tinker had not realized that this had happened. While speaking on Facebook Live, he shared that Covid restrictions were the main reason that this did not happen.
The COVID restrictions really limited our use of the Taylor twins… But there was some things like that that escaped my attention… Chris McNally and Erin Krakow brought it to my attention, for instance… They helped me realize, Lucas has never been in Erin’s rowhouse. Perhaps appropriately. He’s simply a suitor and he’s not seeing in. But yes, in short, it did limit us.
