Kody Brown has twenty-three members of his family so it’s fair that someone would be underrated or ignored at some point. However, as the seasons have rolled on, there have always been a few standouts. Season 16 had many standouts such as Gabriel, Janelle, Christine, and, of course, the nanny. Yet, who is the most ignored and underrated member of the Brown family? Reddit weighed in on that subject recently.

Kody Brown’s Much-Talked Wives

When Sister Wives premiered in 2010, Kody was truly the most talked-about member of his family and he seemed to like it that way. Viewers really tried to comprehend how this one man could get four women to marry him. They spent sixteen seasons trying to answer this as his behavior increasingly became worse. Initially, he preached the importance of family and the sanctity of polygamy. Over time, his eruptive and erratic behavior left little to be desired. He also clearly showed favoritism towards one wife, which Reddit users have been quick to point out.

Kody has always been talked about, whether he is talking down to a wife or praising himself. As for his wives, Christine was celebrated during Season 16. She had the courage to get up and leave a toxic marriage something first wife Meri has yet to do. Though they have not been intimate in a decade, Meri sticks around. Robyn always stays relevant because she is Kody’s only legal wife and she calls the shots. Janelle does not take any of Kody’s mumblings sitting down and always tells it like it is. She will always be fine and if she does leave, she will be so strategic in her ways.

Kody’s Standout Children Make A Splash

As for Kody Brown’s eighteen children, many have always stood out. Mariah was the only child Meri ever had with Kody. Plus, she was the first Brown to come out. Eventually, her sister through Christine, Gwendlyn, appeared to have a girlfriend, as well. Maddie has been a standout by getting married first and being a successful and happy mother of the first two grandchildren. Mykelti followed in her footsteps along with Aspyn who is just a bubbly and happy presence.

Ysabel had a huge storyline from the time she was thirteen. She has battled scoliosis and tried to rectify it with exercises. Unfortunately, once the family moved to Flagstaff, her curve was over fifty degrees. It was essential she get surgery but the pandemic had started so Kody said she should wait. He was not actively living with her at the time so he had no idea the pain she was in. Christine maintained they were getting the surgery and they went without him, Ysabel brokenhearted. This caused a lot of dissension in the family.

Christine’s youngest daughter Truely is the life of the party but almost did not make it due to kidney failure as a toddler. As for Janelle’s sons, Gabe and Garrison are forces to be reckoned with because they just want Kody to listen. Her eldest son Logan was always a powerhouse so fans are constantly asking when they will see him again. Finally, Robyn’s kids are known as obedient since that is how Kody has made them out to be. So, who is the underrated, ignored member in the Brown home?

Kody Brown’s Underrated Ignored Family Member Is…

Sadly, it is Savanah Brown, Janelle’s youngest daughter who happened to be the most responsible during the pandemic. While her brothers were upset they could not do what they wanted and wanted to argue with their dad, she was level-headed. She was still in high school and had to engage in remote learning. Due to this, she explained her social life had been taken away. If she could live without one, so could they to see their father.

Reddit members agree on this as a whole thread was dedicated to her. One member had this to say: “I am still new to all this, but I am finally in season 15 (my life has been nothing but sister wives for the last two weeks or so), but I feel like Savannah (sp) is incredibly underrated. She is so smart and honestly the voice of reason in all of this.” Another added: “I agree! I think she’s the most forgotten Brown child.”

Some feel Kody was all about Savanah in the early years then was quick to drop her as time went on. Finally, one person shared this: “I am glad that we get to hear from her in the later seasons and during Covid. She was kind of the forgotten child with most of her siblings having “better” storylines. It’s nice to know she’s not entirely overshadowed at home like she is on the show.” She has grown into herself, starting to drive and such.

What are your thoughts on Savanah? Let us know in the comments.
