Shanna Moakler Pregnant Amid Ex’s Domestic Violence Arrest

Shanna Moakler has a week filled with up and down emotions. Last Thursday her ex-fiance, Matthew Rondeau was arrested for domestic violence. Now, exactly one week later, the former model and actress has a different type of news to share. She announced she is expecting her fourth child, her first with Rondeau.

Shanna Moakler’s Up And Downs In Love

Fans of Shanna’s truly first got a glimpse into who she was. She appeared alongside her now ex-husband, Travis Barker on MTV’s Meet The Barkers. The fun and quirky reality series showed them having fun in love while navigating work, parenting, and everything in between. Prior to Barker, Moakler was engaged to boxer Oscar De La Hoya and they had a daughter, Atiana. The relationship took a sour turn and Barker ultimately played an integral role in Atiana’s life.

In 2003, Shanna and Travis welcomed their first son, Landon. They wed the following year while their reality series became a hit. It ran for two seasons with a major milestone being Shanna becoming pregnant with their daughter, Alabama. Sadly, the marriage did not last and they officially divorced after two years. She went on to have a few less than functioning relationships but seemed very happy with Matthew. Unfortunately, they began to have their ups and downs and it was questionable if they could truly be happy.

The Beginning Of The End

Last year, Travis started dating Kourtney Kardashian. At the same time, there was a lot of strain between Shanna, 46, and her daughter, Alabama. Yet, her children got along great with the Kardashian/Jenner family. Shanna was still very up and down with Matthew and it just intensified when she began Celebrity Big Brother this year. Teddi Mellencamp, who played alongside Shanna, claimed Matthew slid into her DMs. He apparently said some unfavorable things about his woman. Teddi issued a warning to Shanna. He also felt she was getting too close to a fellow player, Lamar Odom.

By the time she left, it was a disaster. He took over her Instagram and went off on a tangent, making it clear he was sober at the time, according to People. “This is done. I’m never talking to this f—ing specimen of a f—ing human again. You know what she f—ing does last night? She comes here and she f—ing goes to our neighbor’s house with a f—ing wife and f—ing kids and f—ing sleeps here.” He was soon arrested.

Now, Shanna has released a statement sharing that she is expecting a baby. “I took a pregnancy test and it is positive. This has been a very difficult week, but I’m taking everything day by day.” Hopefully, she will continue to have the support of her family during this time. Alabama reached out last week after the arrest to check in on her mom. This cannot be easy but healthy and healing thoughts are with Shanna Moakler as she navigates it all.
