Former Counting On stars Jill and Derick Dillard are expecting their third child! They happily announced that she’s pregnant and due in July. This news comes after Jill had a miscarriage in 2021, so this baby is their rainbow baby. Fans and critics have begun sharing their name ideas for the little one.
Jill is already about halfway through her pregnancy. At this point, the family doesn’t know the baby’s gender. But they teased that they will be finding out soon.
Jill and Derick already have two sons, Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4. When they shared about the miscarriage, they revealed that the baby’s name was River Bliss.
Now, baby name ideas for the newest member of the Dillard family are circulating online. What might Jill and Derick Dillard name baby number three when he or she arrives this summer?

Over on Reddit, Duggar fans and critics are discussing the possible names that Jill and Derick Dillard might use for their third child. Some recall the name ideas they had shared years ago when they were expecting their sons. One of the names they liked is Selah.
Many Duggar snarkers agree that there’s a good chance the baby will be named Selah Catherine if it’s a girl. Catherine is Derick’s mother‘s name, and he seems to be very close to her. A few others think that Shiloh or Eden might be a good fit for a baby girl.
As for a boy name, one snarker writes, “If it’s a boy, I’m thinking Daniel or Gabriel with a plant/nature/hippie middle name.”
Other Reddit users are pointing out that the kids’ first initials so far have spelled out Israel – Israel, Samuel, and River. So, it’s possible that an “A” name will be used for the next baby.
At this point, all of these name ideas are nothing more than speculation based on the couple’s previous name choices and their overall styles. We’ll have to wait and see what Jill and Derick decide to name their third child. She’s already halfway through her pregnancy, so it won’t be much longer before baby number three arrives.
