‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ Releases New Trailer: Watch It
Fans of the Dragon Ball franchise rejoiced when news of a new movie broke. Finally, a new trailer for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie has dropped. As fans of this anime franchise know, the release of this movie is huge as Dragon Ball Super: Broly was the last movie released and that was nearly four years ago.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero — What to expect
According to Comic Book, this will be the first movie under the Dragon Ball umbrella to be a completely CG animated project. The storyline of the movie is expected to take place mostly on Earth with Gohan and Piccolo having major roles as the big defenders of the planet.
With the release of a new full trailer, Toei Animation has given Dragon Ball fans their first detailed look at what to expect from the new movie. The trailer also gives fans their first look at what the new CGI animation style will look like.

Despite being less than two minutes long, the trailer gives fans a nice first look at what to expect from the new movie. Sadly, the trailer is in Japanese without subtitles, so fans that don’t speak Japanese will have to settle for just watching the animation. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has a release date in Japan for April of this year. So, it is expected to drop into theaters in the United States later this year. So, Dragon Ball fans shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to enjoy the finished project.
Here’s what Toei Animation had to say when describing the new movie: “Dragon Ball Super: Broly was a mega-hit with worldwide box office revenue of 13.5 billion yen. 4 years later, in 2022, a new movie in the Dragon Ball Super series has finally arrived with an even greater ‘awakening’!”
