’90 Day Fiance’ Chuck Potthast Diagnosed With Cancer

Chuck Potthast has been known to 90 Day Fiance fans as Andrei Castravet’s worst nightmare. When Andrei married Chuck’s daughter, Elizabeth, he wanted to ensure his little girl was not being used. Furthermore, he needed to know Andrei could pull his own weight in the relationship. This caused the two to butt heads quite frequently. However, all that is about to change as Chuck needs his family now more than ever.

90 Day Fiance Viewers Meet Chuck Potthast And Fam

Chuck first became a presence in Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance. His daughter, Elizabeth had met Andrei while she was in Ireland. A native of Moldova, Andrei was working as a bouncer in Ireland and the two started up a relationship. Andrei relocated to Florida to be with Elizabeth but quickly had trouble adapting as he was very controlling and brash. This caused much concern for her whole family, especially her father and sisters.

They believed Andrei was telling Elizabeth what to do and was not going to be able to pull his weight in the family. She had a part-time time job but Andrei cannot work because he is not a citizen yet. Furthermore, Chuck told Elizabeth he would not support her any longer as he wanted Andrei to step up to the plate. Due to this fact, the couple decided to get married much sooner so Andrei can get to work. They welcomed a daughter in 2019.

Many fights continued to erupt between Andrei, Elizabeth, Chuck, and her family as they appeared on both Happily Ever After? and What Now? The couple has continued their 90 Day success on Pillow Talk, as well, and now can be found on Cameo. Now, despite any issues the duo has had with Chuck, they must come together as he shared he has been going through a very difficult time.

Chuck’s Tough Battle

In a preview for 90 Day Diaries, several cast members share what they are up to. Chuck Potthast is one of them. He reveals he has been battling cancer for the past couple of years. Chuck admits whenever he talks about his kids or his cancer, he gets emotional. Followers are shocked to learn of this news and have a lot to say. “Chuck didn’t deserve this,” one commented. Another added: “Poor chuck. He has cancer. Wow. Hope he can get recovered.”

In addition to Chuck, his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Andrei will be joining him in the series. They are celebrating some milestones though fans have a hard time being happy for them. “Andrej and Libby build a new house?? 😂 Who’s paying for it – chuck???” This should be very interesting to see but hopefully, his whole family can put everything aside to be there for him.
