Andy Cohen is trying to get Bravo to agree to this HUGE change in Housewives reunions. Keep reading for all the details.
RHOSLC Season 2 reunion kicks off without this star
The dramatic second season of RHOSLC came to its conclusion and now fans are ready for the explosive three-part reunion. The first part aired on Sunday, February 27.
As viewers saw during Season 2, federal officers disrupted filming while looking for Jen Shah. She was later apprehended and arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
She allegedly took part in a phone scam that bilked millions of dollars from vulnerable people, including the elderly. Shah continues to profess her innocence. Her trial starts in New York City on March 22, 2022.
Surprisingly, Jen Shah isn’t the RHOSLC star who skipped the reunion. Instead, she showed up, ready for Andy Cohen to grill her. During the first part of the reunion, footage aired of Cohen talking to Shah in her trailer about the questions. He assured her that RHOBH star Erika Jayne wasn’t provided reunion questions in advance, despite online rumors.
Jayne is tangled up in lawsuits alleging that her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, stole money from his law firm clients to fund their lavish lifestyle. She has yet to face criminal charges.
Controversial Housewives star Mary Cosby didn’t show up for the Season 2 RHOSLC reunion. During the first part, Andy Cohen addressed her absence, sharing that she told him days earlier that she didn’t want to face questions about her church.
People reports that her co-stars expressed their regret that Cosby wasn’t there. Meredith Marks said, “I’m not sure the show is very healthy for Mary, but, you know, I like having her support.”
As a result of skipping the reunion, Mary Cosby won’t return for Season 3. Neither will newbie Jennie Nguyen, who was fired for racially charged social media posts.
Andy Cohen reveals huge change he wants to make to Housewives reunions
Following part one of the reunion, Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider were the guests on Watch What Happens Live. The two co-host the B*tch Sesh podcast.
During the episode Andy Cohen shared which part of the reunions he’s trying to rid of.
Wilson fielded a question from a viewer about her watching habits. The viewer wanted to know if the Happy Endings actress fast-forwarded through the clip packages of the reunion. They noted that Casey has previously confessed to skipping the recaps.
After Casey Wilson admitted that she did skip the clip package, Andy Cohen revealed that he’s “trying to eliminate” the clips from the reunion shows. Why?
In his opinion, it would leave “more time” for conversations. Watch the clip below:
Bravoholics weigh in on which reality should be demoted to ‘Friend Of’
In another segment, the podcast hosts played a rapid-fire question game to see if their answers aligned. After Cohen asked a question, Casey and Danielle blurted out their answers at the same time. One answer made Andy Cohen’s mouth drop open.
The question was which Housewife should be demoted to a ‘Friend Of’ instead of a main cast member.
Danielle named RHONY‘s Ramona Singer. Meanwhile, Casey shocked Andy Cohen by saying Teresa Giudice from RHONJ. He called the answers “hot takes.”
Do you think Bravo should drop the clip packages from the reunion episodes? Do you agree that Ramona and Teresa should be demoted? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
Part 2 of the RHOSLC reunion airs Sunday, March 6, only on Bravo.
