Love Is Blind Season 2 seemed to have some notable villains this year

In the season finale, Deepti Vempati won over fans when she left Shake at the altar. She decided that she wanted to choose herself and that Shake just didn’t deserve her. While this would definitely bother most people, Shake shrugged it off and kept the party going.

Fans definitely had enough of his attitude by this point in Love Is Blind Season 2. He’s pretty active on Instagram, so it wasn’t hard for fans to find him online. And they had no problem slamming him.

At first, it seemed like Shake actively embraced his role as the villain. He posted several goofy videos around his vet practice acknowledging that he wasn’t the most popular Love Is Blind participant.

But now, it seems like Shake is finally coming around. He recently posted a video addressing his bad behavior on TV and saying he wanted to do better.

“Ok guys enough is enough. I’m done pretending I’m too cool to care about anything and I know I’ve got some work to do 🚧,” he captioned the video. In it, he admits he’s gotten quite a bit of hate mail since the show premiered. Shake signs off by asking people to be more understanding with him and to remember that he’s only human at the end of the day.

“Shake and I had conversations about how physical intimacy and that chemistry was lacking between us,” the 31-year-old told BuzzFeed. “But to watch it back and see how he did it — it was kind of like, ‘Oh, look at me, I’m this cool dude that’s just gonna talk shit about you to my friends.’ You don’t talk about somebody who is your fiancé, let alone a best friend — or even just a real friend — that way.”

At the end of the day, most viewers are happy that Deepti chose to walk away and find someone who really valued her.

Don’t forget that the Love Is Blind Season 2 reunion special airs on March 4! Keep checking back with us for more details.
