Anna Duggar’s brother, Nathan Keller, has recently been charged with an infraction. He could have put a child’s safety at risk. This comes just a couple of months after Anna’s husband, Josh Duggar, was found guilty on child porn charges. So, what happened with Nathan? And what should you know about the situation?
Anna is one of eight children. Her parents, Mike and Suzette Keller’s kids include Esther, Rebekah, Daniel, Priscilla, Susanna, Nathan, and David. Nathan recently married Nurie Rodrigues. The couple has since welcomed their first child, a boy named Nehemiah, to the world.
Since Josh’s arrest and trial, word of Jana Duggar’s misdemeanor went public, revealing a child in her care was found in the road. Now, another family member has been charged with an infraction. Read on to get all of the details about Anna Duggar’s brother Nathan Keller’s infraction.
Anna Duggar’s Brother Nathan Keller’s Infraction Details
Nathan Keller and his wife, Nurie Rodrigues, were reportedly in a car accident with their baby in the car. Fortunately, Nathan, Nurie, and Nehemiah are all okay. It happened on February 7, 2022.
However, the baby was not in a car seat, according to a report. The report has been circulating online and reveals that Nathan has been charged with a traffic infraction. Note that the other Kellers listed, Naomi and Nicholas, are not related to this case but came up in a search due to them having the same last name.
As you can see below, he’s been charged with a traffic infraction. The statute text notes “child restraint required.” Because it’s an infraction, it’s not nearly as serious as a misdemeanor or a crime. However, Nathan likely had to pay a fine as a result.
According to Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, “Florida law requires children age 5 and under to be secured properly in a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device. Children ages 0 through 3 must be in child restraint devices of a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer’s integrated child seat.”
Hopefully, Anna Duggar’s brother, Nathan Keller, and his wife, Nurie Rodrigues, will take the proper precautions. Fans hope they will keep their baby safe by putting him in a car seat. This incident could have ended tragically.
