‘Teen Titans Go!’ Season 8: Renewed Or Canceled By Cartoon Network?
Teen Titans Go! has been a somewhat divisive series on Cartoon Network for some time. Many traditional comic book fans don’t enjoy the show as much, but it has proven to be popular among other demographics. That said, people have been wondering whether or not the cartoon series will be renewed for an eighth season.
Will Teen Titans Go! Be Renewed Or Canceled?
Teen Titans Go! debuted in 2013. The series focuses on a set of DC characters, including Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, Starfire, and Raven. It did surprisingly well and even led to a successful spinoff film in 2018. Not everybody has been a fan of it though.

More traditional fans of DC comic books have found the Teen Titans Go! series to be too lighthearted compared to the original material. If you have watched HBO’s Titans, you know the storyline can get much darker. However, the cartoon series has found its own fanbase.
Because the show has been somewhat divisive in the comic community, many fans wondered if Cartoon Network would renew it for another season. Thankfully for viewers, the network has announced that the series has been renewed for its eighth season. This makes it the longest-running animated series inspired by DC characters.
The new season, which is set to debut later this year will help the series see its 400th episode. Again, this is a huge milestone for a DC animated series, so there are sure to be plenty of cameos and specials.
What To Expect From The Next Season
President at Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, Sam Register, said this about the renewal: “Seven seasons, one theatrical feature film, multiple specials, celebrity cameos, and no end in sight, this show has carved out its own lane in the acclaimed legacy established by the original Teen Titans animated series.”

It is rumored that the new season will bring along a few new characters to the Teen Titans Go! team. Beard Hunter and King Shark are both characters who may make their way into the series. There are also expected to be a number of celebrity cameos, but it has not yet been announced which celebrity voices viewers will hear this season.
Season 8 of Teen Titans Go! is slated to air later this year. The network has not yet announced an official release date.
In the meantime, fans of the show can look forward to the release of the upcoming made-for-television movie Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse. The film will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on May 24. Cartoon Network will air the movie on May 28 and it will be available to stream on HBO Max on June 28.
