Lala Kent Won’t Let Her Daughter Meet Just Any Guy

Lala Kent has started dating again after her split from Randall Emmett. Their three-year engagement ended when he was spotted with other women in Nashville. Then more cheating rumors surfaced on social media. Lala moved out of the Bel-Air home they shared and moved on since.

She’s currently focused on her daughter Ocean. Lala welcomed her daughter in March 2021. The Bravo star shared that she doesn’t like the idea of leaving her daughter at home while she’s on a date. The single mom is sharing when her daughter will meet her potential new boyfriend when the time is right.

Lala Kent reveals when she’ll introduce her daughter to dates

Lala Kent took part in another Amazon Live session on Monday, February 21. The 31-year-old shared an update on her dating life. She has plans to introduce her 11-month-old to the right man. However, she won’t introduce her daughter to just anyone. She would wait “at least a year” before allowing the two to interact.

Lala Kent shares her daughter with film producer Randall Emmett. The Vanderpump Rules star said the man would “have to be extremely special” if he were to meet Ocean. She has no intentions of getting into a serious relationship at this moment. For now, Lala is just having fun and dating around.

“I would have to know they were a great dude, a background check would have to come back squeaky clean and I would have to know we are in a relationship,” Lala Kent said. “Not a second before. We would have to be fully committed.”

The reality star would wait “at least a year” before it happened. She doesn’t want just anyone around her child. Understandably, Lala has had trust issues since her last relationship. She shared the details of their split and said that she wasn’t aware of Randall’s alleged cheating.

Vanderpump Rules star hired a private investigator

This comes after Lala Kent admitted that she hired a private investigator. Not only will she not just introduce her daughter to just anyone, but she also doesn’t want to date just any old dude. In a previous Amazon Live session, Lala said she hired a P.I. on potential dates. She wants to make sure they pass the background check before the first date.

The Give Them Lala founder doesn’t want to get involved with just anyone after her split. Even though she’s dipping a toe into dating, she doesn’t want to waste her time. Randall proposed to Lala in September 2018. However, the couple postponed their wedding plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier this month, Lala Kent hinted on Instagram that she’s “happy again.” She also shared that she plans to have an “open conversation” with Ocean in regards to the “negative stories” about her father.
