It’s no secret that Love Is Blind participants manage to find love in a very short period of time. But have you ever wondered exactly how long it takes to film an entire season? We did some digging and found answers.

Just keep in mind this will contain some spoilers from Season 2. Read at your own risk from here!

Love Is Blind contestants don’t have a very long time frame for falling in love

There’s only one episode left in Love Is Blind Season 2. The exciting conclusion will drop this Friday on Netflix, so don’t forget to tune in. Right now, we have five remaining couples that will walk down the aisle. But which ones are actually going to get married?

We can’t be sure yet. However, many fans have their guesses. Many seem confident that Danielle and Nick are going to say “I do,” but feel uncertain about the four couples. Shayne and Natalie seemed to be solid when we last left them, but previews for the season finale have some fans changing their minds.

So how long does it take to film a whole season? According to Distractify, it takes about 38 days. This span of time includes dating in the pods, getting engaged, vacationing in Mexico, and living together in the apartments.

In other words, each couple gets a little more than a month to meet and get to know the person they’ll potentially spend the rest of their life with. After knowing this, it’s not all that surprising that most couples in the Love Is Blind experiment don’t work out.

Out of the engaged Season 1 contestants, only two couples are happily married today. Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed recently revealed they’re trying to get pregnant. Matt Barnett and Amber Pike are also enjoying life and marriage together. Both couples celebrated their third wedding anniversaries last fall.

Season 2 fans aren’t loving Shaina’s antics this year

One couple that definitely didn’t make it in Love Is Blind Season 1 was Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten. They were incredibly chaotic and doomed from the start. But now, Season 2 fans can’t help draw comparisons between them and Kyle and Shaina.

The online chatter is definitely something to see. Bachelorette star Katie Thurston even offered her own opinion on the situation.

At the end of the day, Kyle admits that he thinks it’s “hilarious” that Shaina is apparently the new Jessica.

“I’m like, ‘This is hilarious.’ The stories are so similar, but I embraced it,” Kyle told ET. “I’m like, ‘That’s how it went.’ It was a slug fest for her, though. I felt like it was a lot of hatred towards her.”

Don’t forget to check into Netflix this Friday to see how Love Is Blind turns out this season. And keep checking back with us for more details and gossip. We’ll fill you in as soon as we know more.
