Lacey Chabert’s Sweet Tradition
Lacey wrote on Twitter, “I always try to keep a special dress from each movie I do so I can one day give them to my daughter. This was my favorite that I got to keep from #TheWeddingVeil @hallmarkchannel”
Now that Lacey has filmed 30 Hallmark movies, it is not clear if she has saved 30 dresses. In addition, her daughter, Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar, just turned five in September. Therefore, it would make sense that Lacey may have started this sweet tradition in 2016 after her daughter was born.
According to People, the movie she was filming when she was pregnant was A Wish For Christmas, with Paul Greene and Andrea Brooks. However, since then, the Mean Girls star has made 24 Hallmark movies.
That means she may have potentially saved 24 dresses for Julia. Of course, now that Lacey has signed an exclusive two-year contract with Crown Media, Hallmark’s parent company, that number could significantly increase.

Hallmark fans were delighted that Lacey Chabert saves dresses for her daughter. Her post garnered a lot of praise and love. One fan wrote, “That dress was so perfect for such an impactful scene❤️.”

Lacey Chabert’s Wedding Veil Movies Were Huge Hallmark Success
Hallmarks Wedding Veil movies have been a tremendous success. According to E! News, these Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants-inspired movies are the most watched in a decade.
The first Wedding Veil movie that stars Lacey Chabert and Kevin McGarry is the second most-watched Hallmark movie, ever!
However, making these movies was a passion project that needed a lot of patience. Chabert brought this idea to Hallmark three years ago. Then, she had to figure out who to also star in this trilogy. Although she knew Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney as work friends, their relationship changed tremendously.
Lacey explained why this trio bonded so closely. Their shared experience of being a working mom instantly gave them something in common.
I really respect both of them and they were so supportive of me. We really bonded over trying to balance it all, working and being mothers, and it was also really unique to understand their process and see how much we have in common in the way we approach these movies. We all understand the responsibility we feel to the fans to try and raise the bar and make each one better than the last.
