After the success of her overwhelmingly successful project The Wedding Veil trilogy, Lacey Chabert just now signed an exclusive deal with Crown Media Family Networks, Hallmark’s parent company.

What are the details?

Lacey Chabert Signs Contract With Hallmark’s Parent Company, Crown Media

According to Deadline, Lacey Chabert has signed an exclusive deal with Crown Media Family Networks, Hallmark’s parent company. This two-year contract is for a “multi-picture overall deal with Crown Media.”

Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks was quick to point out what an asset Chabert is to the network. “Lacey’s warmth, talent, relatability, and creative sensibilities have endeared her to millions of Hallmark viewers for more than ten years, making her one of our most in-demand stars.”

In addition to shining on screen, Lacey is a prolific behind-the-scenes creative partner, developing and executive producing many of our highest-quality, most-beloved projects of all time. She inherently understands and embodies what our networks are all about – the transformational power of love and making people feel good – and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt, compelling stories that will entertain, inspire, and touch our audience.

This deal will showcase Lacey’s many talents. This includes headlining, executive producing, and developing content for the Hallmark Channel and “other Hallmark platforms.”

They did not specify the “other platforms.” However, this wording could indicate that in addition to making romcoms, and Christmas movies, Chabert could be working on projects over at Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

HMM has been revamping that site and canceling some mysteries. There is no word on whether they have axed Crossword Mysteries, where Chabert stars with Brennan Elliott. However, she could be developing a new mystery series

The Wedding Veil Star Recently Reached Milestone

Lacey Chabert’s first Hallmark movie was Elevator Girl, back in 2010. On Saturday, when Hallmark aired the third Wedding Veil movie, Wedding Veil Legacy, the Mean Girls star reached a milestone. This was her thirtieth movie with the feel-good network.  Chabert touched upon her long history with Hallmark.

My experience at Hallmark, a home to me for over ten years now, has been wonderful and it’s beyond rewarding to create characters and develop stories that resonate so strongly with viewers.

Chabert intuitively knows what Hallmark fans want. She developed and produced The Wedding Veil trilogy. The first movie, where she stars alongside Kevin McGarry, is the second most-watched Hallmark non-Christmas movie ever.

Therefore, it is no surprise that the network is letting her develop more. Moreover, she is thrilled about that prospect.

I’m also incredibly grateful to Crown’s programming team for supporting me as a producer and empowering me to develop and star in projects that bring my passion and creative vision to life. I am so excited for what’s next and to continue connecting with Hallmark’s audience.

Lacey Chabert Shares Joy In Making Hallmark Movies

On Monday, Lacey Chabert went to social media to share the article. The Christmas Waltz star wrote on Instagram, “Making these movies with @hallmarkchannel has brought such joy to my life. I’m deeply grateful for the journey to continue! Thank you so much for your support 🤍”

Are you excited about Lacey’s new contract?

  1. I enjoy most of Lacey’s movies but especially the Crossword Mysteries so I would be very upset if Hallmark cancels those. I can’t imagine why they would cancel ANY of mystery series as long as the actors still want to portray those characters.
