Jill Chin reveals what it was like living with Shanae

Jill Chin appeared on the Talking It Out podcast with Bryan Abasolo and Mike Johnson. She dished some behind-the-scenes information about Shanae Ankney. Fans have seen Shanae cause an incredible amount of drama including bragging about getting other women sent home. She also admitted to crying fake tears in front of Clayton Echard. So, that’s what fans saw on television. What was it really like living with villain Shanae?

Bachelor Nation shared all the details. Jill said, “In the house, I thought she seemed a little crazy, but she wasn’t doing anything to me directly, so I just sat back. I reached out to her many times. I can’t say how many times I reached out to that woman saying that I knew she felt alienated in the house and I never wanted her to feel that way so she could come to me and we can talk it out.”

She went on to say it seemed like there was something more as to why Shanae was acting out.

Jill said, “Time and time again, I would ask her if she wanted to talk and she would just say thank you and wouldn’t want to talk about it. At that point, I had to create a boundary for myself because it was just a one-sided relationship. She wasn’t giving me what I needed and I wasn’t giving her what she needed apparently. So I had to step back from that and let her be the author of her own destiny.”

Was she shocked watching the show on television?

Jill admits she was shocked watching the show back. She said Shanae kept to herself a lot in the house. When Jill saw her interviews on camera she admits her opinion and feelings towards Shanae changed. She originally thought she was just troubled. Now, like everyone else, Jill feels differently.

In the end, she admits it wasn’t her job to babysit a grown woman.

Jill said she has no regrets about her time on the show. She realizes the stars just weren’t aligned for her to have a relationship with Clayton.
