Tom Schwartz Drops Hint About Katie Maloney Becoming A Mom?

Tom Schwartz may have dropped a hint about Katie Maloney becoming a first-time mom. He shared a baby update about his wife over the weekend. The couple invited viewers into their journey on Vanderpump Rules Season 9. They’ve been considering expanding their family amid the baby boom.

The two were spotted attending a Super Bowl party of the weekend. They reunited with their past and present cast members. Some of them included Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, and Lala Kent, all of which who invited their babies. Katie snuggled up to her godchild baby Hartford in one of the many Instagram Stories from this past weekend.

Tom Schwartz shares a baby update

Tom Schwartz shared an update on their family plans. They first opened up about their fertility struggles during Season 9. Katie Maloney also revealed that she had an abortion early on in their relationship. Schwartz took the blame for their inability to conceive lately. Then, he teased that Katie will become an “incredible mom” one day.

“Time will tell,” Schwartz told Us Weekly about having kids. “I don’t know [when]… I love kids. We just never got around to it. It’s not too late, I know.”

He’s still holding out hope that they will have kids. However, he admits that they never followed through with their plans. Schwartz isn’t sure if he’ll make a great father. But, he’s been working on his “plant daddy” skills through gardening.

“Is that creepy?” Schwartz asked before adding, “I’ve got a green thumb now. … I’m obsessed with plants.”

Katie Maloney and Schwartz married in California in August 2016. However, they had to get married again since they never filed the paperwork for their big day. They had a ceremony in Las Vegas in 2019. Since then, they’ve been focused on family planning.

Katie Maloney calls Lisa Vanderpump “invasive”

They’ve shared their timeline for having kids. Yet, they’re not in a hurry. Katie Maloney spoke to Lisa Vanderpump about their fertility plans. The SUR owner questioned whether she was ready to get pregnant. Katie didn’t like all of the questions that Vanderpump kept asking her. In an episode of her podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me, Katie called their chat “invasive.”

“I’m talking to Lisa and she’s like, ‘Well, are you guys going to see a fertility doctor? Did you even try?'” Katie Schwartz explained. “That question, I get where it was coming from. It was coming from a good place. But it can feel very invalidating and invasive because it’s like, ‘Yes, I tried. Of course, we tried.’ I get it, people are curious and they want to know, but it’s rude. It just comes across as rude.”
