Robyn Brown Calls Christine’s Marriage A “Waste”
Robyn Brown has not held back her feelings on Christine and Kody’s divorce. In her mind, the two aren’t even technically divorced. In part three of the Season 16 Sister Wives tell-all, the divorce is heavily talked about. For the first time, footage of Christine making the choice to leave Kody is shown. The wives and Kody have strong feelings about it but Robyn’s are exceptionally impassioned.
Robyn Brown Becomes The Fourth Wife
When the series debuted in 2010, there were only three wives. Kody was legally married to Meri and spiritually wed to Janelle and Christine. His third wife, Christine was the prime homemaker and caretaker. She kept the home and was so selfless, it took a toll on her mentally and physically. This was a role the fourth wife, Robyn eventually took on. Robyn was discovered by Meri and a divorced mother of three.
As she revealed in Season 16, she had many suitors after her divorce but did not want monogamy. No one shamed her for her divorce and the Brown family only helped her. In 2014, Meri divorced Kody so that Robyn could marry him. The purpose was so he could legally adopt her three kids. Viewers also saw that Robyn was becoming a favorite wife and this became even more clear when the pandemic hit.
Kody was supposed to go to each wife’s home, with the exception of Meri’s, but he regularly stayed with Robyn. In time he would call Robyn the “obedient” wife. She said it was easy to follow his rules just to have her husband around. However, she did complain to Meri and Janelle that he was around too much. When Sister Wives: One on One first started airing, Christine declared she was divorced. Robyn saw things differently.
Robyn Judges Christine’s Marriage
According to Robyn, Christine and Kody could not be divorced because they still had to go through the proper channels. The couple had to go to their church where they were married to be absolved of their union and had not done that. Yet Christine maintains she is not a part of that church anymore and hasn’t been for a while so it should not matter. Nor does she seem to care about a spiritual union.
Kody has his own feelings about the divorce but as for Robyn, she is quite verbal in the preview for part three of tell-all. As she rolls her eyes, she goes, “what a waste” then proceeds to laugh. She claims she cannot understand how they could give up and not try to fix it. Robyn says she is devastated by her sister wife’s choice. This is obviously hard for her to understand as she has a functioning marriage with Kody.

My two favorite are Meri and Christine after Robin came in Kody pushed Meri out then Christine and he’s doing the same to Jenelle so she will get what she wants him to her self I think the only reason Kody wants them around is money and he did abandon the other wife’s no matter what he thinks that’s no marriage and not fair that he can have sex and they can’t when he left them when the 4th came in to the picture you can see who is his favorite wife and kids are truly sad
Robyn has so many opinions. She’s hurt, she’s mad and none of this was an issue until she came in and took over.
No woman should have to put up with a man like Kody. Robyn gets what she deserves. If Meri and Janelle had any self worth, they’d be gone, money, children and all.
Robyn needs to mind her own. Christine can leave anytime she is not legally married to Kody. She has no paper binding her. Wait till he decides to bring some other girls then you will see just what the rest have went through. He talks the talk about they can bring in other men but could you see what would happen if Robyn was sleeping with another man all Heck would break loose. Kody would not handle it for ONE night. He is a hypocrite. Only those HE says can have another man. NOT Robyn for sure.
