‘MAFS’ Pastor Cal Weighs In On Chris & Alyssa, Some Are ‘Dishonest’
MAFS has seen some not-so-great matches on the show. However, has anyone really come close to how Alyssa Ellman has acted? She’s not gained many fans and most feel sorry for Chris Collette who she Married at First Sight. Now, while she claims to want to figure out how to move forward in their marriage, Chris finally said he’s done. Pastor Calvin Roberson has some thoughts on the nightmare marriage between Chris and Alyssa. Keep reading to find out more.
MAFS Pastor Cal weighs in on Alyssa and Chris nightmare
Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson went to Instagram to weigh in on the whole ordeal with Chris and Alyssa. Fans saw Chris say to Pastor Cal and Alyssa that this was his “decision day.” He said he wanted to divorce Alyssa.
While Alyssa Ellman repeatedly said she’s a good person, fans believed otherwise. She never gave Chris a chance. She admits he was not physically her type and when she saw him on their wedding day there was no attraction. Alyssa also says her psychic told her that her husband would have an eagle tattoo. Chris does not.
Now, that Chris said he’s done, Pastor Cal shared a few thoughts. He shared a video and captioned saying, “We always have high hopes for all of the participants chosen on married at first sight. But, to make marriage work, two people must be willing.” Pastor Cal continued, “This is not just a show for me. It’s about helping real people with real feelings, who are really married and are dealing with real issues.”
He concluded by saying, “Unfortunately, some people think they know what they want but really don’t. And then there are others who are dishonest throughout the process. We may not always be able to tell the difference between the two but in the end, the truth always prevails.”
Of course, everyone knows it was Alyssa who was not completely honest.
Alyssa showed zero interest in being married to Chris
When Chris and Alyssa met with Pastor Cal, Chris shared that it was obvious Alyssa didn’t want to be married to him since night one. He pointed out how she says they are not compatible and Alyssa has used words such as “robbed” and “jipped” when describing their situation.
In fact, Alyssa wanted to divide the time living in the new apartment so she could be with her new friends. She had no interest in trying to make it work with Chris.
The entire length of their marriage was basically spent apart. She refused to share a room with him on their wedding night or during their honeymoon. Everything he said she claimed to not like and accused him of being disrespectful.
Fans think Chris should get another shot at MAFS since Alyssa clearly made zero efforts.

Chris should get another shot. Australia does this. Alyssa was a terrible choice and Chris was screwed by her! It would even be worst if she had stayed with Chris.
Yes give Chris another shot. She really thinks she a good person to whom? I just wish she really knew she not a beautiful girl. She was a idiot before the wedding. She thought everyone staff all the way to her husband to bowl down to her. She was disrespectful to the other ladies from beginning to end. she was disrespectful to staff all through her 10 minutes of fame. She only wanted to be on TV and free vacation,free place to live. No honey you far from a good person. She should have to pay everything back. She need to go and get some professional help.
The fans would LOVE IT if Chris was given another shot! She must have breached her contract somewhere….unless she showed up only for the obligatory forced meetings. One would think they could invoice her! At least if he doesn’t get a do-over….than please give him some kind of amazing match making service. One point people are failing to miss – Alyssa would be PERFECT FOR UNMATCHABLES but that would be heavy lifting for the show because they’d have to somehow show her how ugly her soul is and what she needs to work on, but for her….it could be good because I think she’s completely unaware of how she acted. I’m sure she’s treated many men terrible !
