Tori Roloff Shares Sad Cancer Story About Her Pup
Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff is reflecting on the sad story about her pup having cancer. She opened up to fans via social media, letting them know what had happened with her dog. So, what’s the full story, and what do fans need to know?
If you’re a LPBW fan, you might know that Tori and Zach Roloff have a dog, Murphy. They often share photos of themselves and their children, Jackson, 4, and Lilah, 2, spending time with the pup. They have loved making memories with their furry friend over the past few years.
Just this week, Tori shared more photos of Murphy as her family found a couple of chicks in their garage. Sure enough, Murphy was a fan of the chicks and was very gentle with them. Tori was happy to report that her little family has grown and that Zach was working on building a home for the chicks.
Amid the happy news, Tori Roloff does have a sad cancer story to share about her dog. She hopped on her Instagram stories to reflect on her past loss.

On her Instagram stories this week, Tori Roloff shared a throwback photo of her young puppy. She wrote, “Stop it. My dad just sent this to me… This was Sully 8 years ago…We sure do miss this friend. He was such a good pup!!”
Then, she wrote, “Also before it gets twisted… Sully was my first pup that I got on my own! He passed away when he was 3 due to a super aggressive cancer that took him in less than 5 days.”
She continued, “I was devastated! He was my baby and we lost him when I was 7 months pregnant with Jackson.”
Then, she shared another picture on her story. This photo is of their new dog, Murphy. He’s the one that fans have seen in recent photos. Tori Roloff explains, “We got Murphy a little over a year after his passing. He is SUCH a good pup too and we love him.”
Then, she clarifies, “He’s alive… nothing happened to him. This photo was taken this afternoon after he checked in on our new chicken friends.”
So, fans can rest assured that Murphy is still doing well and Tori is simply reflecting on the past and what happened to Sully. Fortunately, it looks like Murphy is healthy and happy with Jackson and Lilah.
