Ding dong the witch is gone or so to speak. Fans were overjoyed that villain Shanae Ankney was finally sent home Monday night on The Bachelor. She has caused tons of drama and had Clayton Echard questioning everyone and everything. It all finally came to an end when he wised up and sent her home during a two-on-one date with Genevieve. Now that she’s gone, Shanae had some things to say to Bachelor Nation.

Shanae Ankney addresses Bachelor fans after exit

Shanae Ankney went to Instagram to share her feelings and thoughts about her exit and time on The Bachelor. She started out saying what a ride it had been. Shanae went on to say she spent the day with her dad who she refers to as her first love. She said they spent the day making donuts and “hauling a$$.” She took some time to also reflect on her journey with Clayton.

Shanae said, “For those of you who don’t know me, I wanted to share a few things. If you choose to judge me on the five hours of footage you’ve watched, I’m sad you didn’t get a look into the real me. And if you were so quick to say you would never be “so mean to someone” while simultaneously sending me hateful messages so ugly I wouldn’t repost – that doesn’t make you better than me. My realness isn’t for everyone – real never makes everyone happy. I made a promise to myself a long time ago that my heart won’t ever be guided by anyone else but me.”

She continued on saying she is just going to continue eating shrimp and being her authentic self.

Shanae wished Clayton well and said it was an honor to be a part of his journey.

Are her words real or fake?

Contradictions? Real or fake?

Fans can see she contradicted herself in her statement. Shanae said people didn’t get a look into the real her. However, just a bit further down she says her “realness isn’t for everyone.”

Many fans wonder just how sincere Shanae is with her words since viewers saw her telling the camera what a good actress she is.

It appears she doesn’t want to take any responsibility for her own actions. Instead, she wants to blame it on editing. Could editing have really made Shanae look that bad? Most believe she did it all on her own.

Are you glad Shanae is history?

Don’t miss The Bachelor Monday nights on ABC.

  1. I’m Super glad she left. The worst contestant since the shows inception. However he should have booted her off long before he did. Her shallow character brought the show to an all time low!!!!! So not good. The show seems to be regressing at a fast rate of speed and losing the integrity and class it once had IMHO.

    1. I couldn’t agree more! I liked the show in the beginning because it seemed people were real and only interested in truly falling in love. Now it’s like a bunch of 2 and 3 year olds, the men and the women. Childish and immature for the most part and I won’t be watching in the future.
