Robyn Brown’s Real Motives For Dissing Christine?
Robyn Brown has not been too kind to former third wife, Christine as of late. In the recent tell-alls, Sister Wives: One on One, Robyn has had some strong opinions. She discussed Kody and Christine’s divorce, which she is deeming invalid. Furthermore, in an upcoming clip, she watches as Christine breaks down but claims she is devastated by her choice to leave. Yet is Robyn harboring more hidden ill-will towards her former sister wife causing her to lash out?
Robyn Brown- Picking Up Where Christine Left Off
When Robyn began immersing herself in the Brown family in 2010, Christine was the third wife and the homemaker. She took care of the then twelve children between Meri, Janelle, and herself. At the time, Christine was also pregnant with her sixth child, Truely. Viewers had a very hard time with Kody as he was out on a date, smooching Robyn when Christine was in labor. Maybe that was when the dissension between the two ladies truly began.
Once they left Utah and the one-family home, each wife was introduced to living in their own homes yet close together. It was newfound freedom and they liked it especially Christine. As viewers would later learn, she had been the basement wife in Utah. This meant she was the lowest on the totem pole and was expected to be the most subservient. After about ten years, she was burnt out so she told Kody how she felt. To him, he believed she was breaking the marriage contract.
Luckily, Robyn came in and picked up all of the pieces. She truly only got along with Meri while Janelle and Christine were tight-knit. By the time of the pandemic, the only wife Kody had a functioning marriage with was Robyn and by November 2021, Christine chose to leave. She returned to Utah and has never looked happier. Once the tell-all began, Robyn had some thoughts on Christine and they were not the best.
What’s Robyn’s True Issue?
Robyn Brown consistently shows her true colors while contradicting herself. She claims she does not want monogamy yet she is deadset on making sure Kody is always at her home. Now, during part two of the tell-all, she has said some things to ruffle Christine’s feathers. First, she maintains that both Christine and Janelle were not as welcoming to her and her three children. Then, she claimed that Christine and Kody were still married. Since they wed in a particular church, it is up to them to declare the couple divorced.
Christine has not been a member of said church for years so, in her mind, this does not apply to her at all. She also does not need someone telling her if she is divorced or not considering it was spiritual not legal. According to Screen Rant, these are all factors that play into Robyn disliking Christine. Yet, it appears there is more. A lot goes back to Christine and Kody’s separation. Robyn believes that Christine should have tried harder.
She believes they should find a way to work it out for their family while a Reddit thread says otherwise. Followers think Robyn is just scared this leaves the door open for a new wife. Another possibility, one Redditer pointed out, is Robyn fears the show could be canceled. As of now, Season 17 is a go. What do you think her reasoning for being so cold to Christine is?
