‘Love Is Blind’: Kyle Reacts To Shaina’s Shocking Onscreen Confession
The first few episodes of Love Is Blind Season 2 are out now. And many fans are really concerned about Kyle and Shaina. Is anyone else getting flashbacks to Jessica and Mark from Season 1?
Keep reading to see what Kyle had to say after watching the first few episodes. Just keep in mind there will be spoilers here, so read at your own risk!
There is definitely some drama ahead for the Love Is Blind stars
Kyle and Shaina don’t agree on a lot, including major topics like religion. But Kyle decided that he really did love Shaina and wanted to make it work. He proposed, she accepted, and minutes later she confessed her love to Shayne.
Shayne ended up proposing to Natalie, creating one of the most complicated tangled webs of the show. But now that Kyle had the chance to watch the first few episodes, he definitely has some thoughts.
“It’s crazy, because watching it back, I had no idea any of that stuff was happening behind my back,” Kyle told ET after watching it all play out on the screen. “I didn’t know. It was a little hard to watch.”
Kyle goes on to say that he really hoped things would go better, but he admittedly did try and gave it his all.
“I thought that our story would be inspiring,” he said. “The fact that we had such different beliefs… Those things bothered me in the past. If that was real life, a regular date, I would’ve closed the book on her. But again, I wanted to keep going and try and move past it. I was never going to try to change her opinion on that because that’s impossible.”
There are still five more episodes left in the season, but fans agree that it’s not looking good for Shaina and Kyle.
Is Shaina really the new Jessica?
Love Is Blind fans may not have a lot of hope for the couple, but Kyle confirms their story doesn’t end with episode 5. He admitted he goes on to meet her family and they keep in touch to this day. But are they married? No one can be sure yet.
But Kyle did think it was wonderful that fans compare Shaina to Jessica Batten from Love Is Blind Season 1.
“I’m like, ‘This is hilarious.’ The stories are so similar, but I embraced it,” Kyle told ET. “I’m like, ‘That’s how it went.’ It was a slug fest for her, though. I felt like it was a lot of hatred towards her.”
Don’t forget to tune into Netflix this Friday when the next four Love Is Blind Season 2 episodes air. The big wedding episode will air the following Friday.
