Jackie Goldschneider Musters Courage To Discuss Her Eating Disorder
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider is opening up about some serious personal issues that she feels are affecting her family in a negative way. During the latest episode of RHONJ, Jackie broke down in tears when confessing to her husband that she is facing a day-to-day struggle. Jackie claims that she is constantly feeling guilt and remorse, and feels that it is starting to put a lot of stress on their marriage and their family life.
Goldschneider is clearly having a tough time in Season 12. Not only is she struggling personally, but she is also dealing with a lot of tension breaking out among the wives. Adding to her stress was a recent and volatile confrontation between herself and Dolores Catania. The argument quickly escalated and the two nearly came to blows before Melissa Gorga and the other wives stepped in in an attempt to diffuse the situation.
Jackie Goldschneider Reveals Tension Building Among The Wives
It is obvious the stress is getting to Jackie as she sits down to talk it out with her husband Evan. In the past Goldschneider has hinted that she has faced issues with an eating disorder. However, this is the first time that Jackie has shared her true feelings and fears, according to Meaww.com.The reality star sat down with her husband to reveal her fears. Breaking down in tears Jackie admits that she is now aware that her children are closely watching her eating habits, and it is breaking her heart.
Jackie admits to her husband Evan that she feels she needs help. She began to recount the times that her eating disorder has affected their lives. Jackie begins telling Evan about a time they were together and she fainted. She reveals that she had failed to eat all day, and that is why she fainted.
In tears, Goldschneider tells her concerned husband that she is afraid of relapsing and her biggest fear was gaining weight. Evan listens with concern and then reveals to Jackie that their children have been noticing her struggles with eating. He adds they have come to him concerned asking why she is eating little to nothing, or eating the same foods every night.

Evan’s words left Jackie feeling guilt and remorse. She breaks down broken over the fact that she is giving her children the impression that her behavior is acceptable. He then suggests to his wife that she seek professional help on the matter. Jackie agrees that she feels he is right and is open to going to therapy.
During the episode of RHONJ fans took to social media and began praising Jackie for her courage.
