Vicki Gunvalson Clarifies Cancer Cells Forced Full Hysterectomy
Former Real Housewives Of The OC star Vicki Gunvalson is doing a little backtracking about her cancer diagnosis. It appears that Vicki misspoke to a degree back in November when revealing her recent medical diagnosis during an interview on the Jeff Lewis Live SiriusXM podcast.
Now, Per People, Vicki is explaining the details surrounding her previous cancer statements. RHOC fans recall that Gunvalson bluntly announced that she had cancer. Lewis brought up the subject of Brooks Ayers cancer scheme. A subject that clearly to this day is still very sensitive to Vicki.
Vicki Gunvalson Claims She Was Misunderstood
During the interview, Vicki became very agitated and states, “What did I win? I f***ing got $380,000 out of my checkbook and into his. I paid for all his s**t for five years. So people say I was in on some sort of scam? I got scammed. He was sick so he couldn’t work. Don’t get me down this rabbit hole. it makes me absolutely crazy. Thinking about anybody thinking that I would do that to somebody when so many people have suffered from cancer.”
She continued, “I do not need anybody bringing me down. Truly, I have been going through a f***ing tough time right now. I just had my whole f***ing uterus taken out.”
Cancer Cells Caught In Time
As previously reported at the time Vicki Gunvalson did not go into too many details surrounding her cancer statement. However, now Gunvalson is clarifying her statement. Vicki explains, she didn’t actually have cancer, but cancerous cells.
“I had a full hysterectomy because I had cancer cells in my uterus and cervix,” Vicki explains.
“They took it out, no chemo, no radiation. It wasn’t a two-year battle like they misconstrued. It was two years ago.”
Gunvalso also adds that she was not formally diagnosed with cancer.
“You don’t go get a full hysterectomy because you have nothing else to do tomorrow. My doctor took it out. When I went for a post-op appointment I was told, “Good thing you took it out. We did see cancer cells” Vicki reveals.
Vicki claims she felt the need to clarify what had happened after her words got pushed into all of these other lies. “So the truth is the truth,” she claims.
Whooping It Up Vicki Gunvalson Style
Over the years Vicki Gunvalson has experienced quite a bit of bad luck when it comes to romance. Not only with Brooks Ayers, but also with her former fiance Steve Lodge. TV Shows Ace recently reported that Vicki celebrated her split from Lodge with a wild Las Vegas official Break-Up Party.
Lodge and Gunvalson had a very nasty split and the two have been verbally going back and forth over the details of their break-up. Vicki claims Steve cheated, lied, and used her to better himself. However, Steve claims just the opposite saying Vicki used him to keep a relevant storyline on RHOC. Either way, the two are no longer together and Vicki commemorated the breakup by whooping it up with male strippers during a wild sin city weekend.
