‘Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay Gives Wedding Plans Update

Vanderpump Rules OG Scheana Shay is no stranger to being in love. For the entire nine-season run of the hit Bravo reality series, Shay has had eyes for someone special. This year, the former SUR server formally introduced viewers to the man of her life, Brock Davies. An ex-rugby player from Australia, the cast called both of them out for many red flags. However, they are engaged and planning a wedding, the second for both parties. Though they had an idea in place, which was shared at the VR reunion, Shay is giving an update. Looks like plans have changed and she is going with the flow.

Vanderpump Rules Rough Romance

When Scheana first started on VR, she had just come over to SUR from Villa Blanca but with her came somewhat of a reputation. In her past, she had an affair with Eddie Cibrian who happened to be Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband. At the time, Glanville was not only a cast member on RHOBH which Pump Rules was a direct spinoff of. More so, she was a very close friend of Lisa Vanderpump, owner of SUR and Villa Blanca.

It created a lot of tension the first season as the staff deemed Scheana a homewrecker until they really got to know her. Furthermore, she was in a serious relationship with Michael Shay who she had met in high school. By the end of Season 3, the two had tied the knot but that was over by Season 5. She rebounded with Rob Valletta the following season, someone she had dated prior to Shay but it only lasted a season. Scheana followed that up by engaging in a friends with benefits relationship between her and barback Adam Spott.

Sadly, that ended when she went on a date with someone else. She spent Season 8 trying to find someone and freezing her eggs and by the reunion, had Brock. While the show was waiting to come back, she got pregnant, sadly had a miscarriage then learned she was expecting again. The two welcomed their daughter, Summer Moon last spring. With Brock being the one for her and an eventual engagement, a wedding was clearly not far behind.

Here Comes The Bride…

Scheana and Brock caught a lot of heat for trying to plan a shotgun wedding at the expense of others during Season 9. First, Brock wanted to do it like a movie premiere theme but would not pay up. Then they were going to piggyback it at James and Raquel’s engagement party. Everyone thought that was inappropriate so Lala blew up their spot even though they changed their minds at the last minute. At the Vanderpump Rules reunion, they shared they were planning on getting married in Bali. Now, plans have changed, and here is where it stands.

According to Heavy, the wedding is no longer in Bali, which Shay shared on her podcast. This has to do with COVID restrictions so they are looking elsewhere. They still want to make it a destination wedding but somewhere closer so that everyone can attend. Scheana told Life & Style that she and her sister, Cortney have a trip planned out of the country to look at some venues.

They are looking to see what feels right and if that place is not for them, they will go elsewhere. Though Brock and Scheana were initially in a rush, time does not seem so big now. To ensure everyone can come, even though it’s a small guest list, she is willing to wait. “If that’s not going to work this summer, then maybe we put it off until next summer or we put it off until this fall.”
