‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Remains King Of His Castle
Matt Roloff owns and operates his own 100-acre farm in Oregon. The farm, which is famous in the area for its pumpkin patch, has been the topic of a Roloff family feud for some time now. Recent paperwork was filed confirming that Matt refuses to give up his place at the farm, remaining the sole owner of the farm. Neither of the Little People, Big World star’s sons were listed in the documents.
Matt Roloff Becomes Sole Owner Of The Farm
Roloff and his wife, Amy, first bought the farm in 1990 for $185,000. After years of marriage and hard work on the 100 acres, Matt and Amy split up. They were divorced in 2016. Since then, Amy has slowly been selling her shares of the land to her ex-husband to fully step away from the farm.

Amy is now married to Chris Marek and pursuing various business ventures, including cookbooks and a cooking show. Matt has also started to move on. He is dating Caryn Chandler, who has served as his assistant for more than 10 years.
In June of 2019, Amy sold a portion of the land she owned to Matt for $667,000. She sold another portion of the land to him in August 2020 for $975,000. Until last year, she still occupied the Secretary role on the farm. It isn’t yet clear what Matt is planning to do. Both of his sons were hoping to eventually take over the 100-acre Roloff Farms, but for now, it seems Matt has different plans.
Roloff’s Son Jeremy Is Heartbroken
Fans of the family look for updates on social media regularly. Recently, Matt was asked if Jeremy would be buying the farm soon. Roloff responded saying, “No, not yet. No, we haven’t settled what we’re going to do with the farm. It’s all being discussed actively.”
Jeremy’s wife, Audrey, told a different story in the comments. She said it was the “death of a dream” to not be buying the farm. Zach, Jeremy’s twin brother, also dreamed of buying the farm one day. However, his wife said that didn’t work out for them. Zach, Tori, and their children moved to Washington state last October to start an adventure of their own. “Some things just don’t go according to plan. But it all worked out for us,” Tori said in an Instagram Story.

For now, the official filings for The Roloff Farms are all under the family patriarch’s name. It is unclear whether or not either of his sons will ever have the opportunity to take over the family farm. Matt says it is in the works, but only time will tell.
A release date for season 23 of Little People, Big World has not yet been announced. So, for now, fans can keep up with Matt Roloff, the feud over the farm, and other LPBW details by following them on social media.
