Duggar Family Roasted For Lackluster Super Bowl Party

The Duggar family tuned in to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday night, just like millions of other people across the United States. It looks like they had a get-together at Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar‘s house for the occasion. When they shared about their party spread online, however, they didn’t get the response they might have been expecting. Now, the family is being roasted for how they partied during the Super Bowl.

Though the Duggar family doesn’t watch TV, they do seem to make an exception when it comes to football. On social media in the past, they have shared photos of their family gathered around a projection screen or computer watching football.

Joy-Anna Forsyth has let her son, Gideon, watch movies. And some of the other Duggar kids have changed their minds on the TV rules their parents made. But it doesn’t look like a lot of them have TVs and instead watch shows or movies on their computers.

For the Super Bowl, it looks like the Duggar family watched the game on a projection screen in their living room. They also had a variety of snacks to enjoy during the big game. So, why are they being roasted for this?

The Duggar family’s Super Bowl party is mocked online.

On Instagram, Jason Duggar shared a few snaps from his family’s party. He snapped one picture of the countertop, which features a few different snacks and beverages. He also posted a picture of a cookie cake that’s decorated for his friend’s birthday and the Super Bowl.

On Reddit, Duggar family snarkers are discussing the way they spent their evening watching the Super Bowl. It looks like the family’s critics aren’t loving their spread.

One Reddit user writes, “As a middle eastern American, I would be embarrassed of putting out a spread that looked like that. Looks like chips, hummus, and a cookie cake?”

Another critic calls the spread “pathetic.”

Someone else says, “That’s the saddest looking ‘party’. No people, a zillion empty convention chairs lined up at the bar, all in a darkened room. Not one homemade specialty party food in sight. Depressing.”

So, what do you think of the Duggar family’s Super Bowl party? Do you agree that it’s lacking? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. And for more news about the Counting On family, come back to TV Shows Ace.

  1. We live in America and the Duggars can have any kind of party they want. Can people ever be happy? LEAVE THE DUGGARS ALONE.
