Nobody is buying Alyssa Ellman’s good person attitude on Season 14 of MAFS. Fans have been calling her out since the premiere. She’s not been giving her new husband Chris Collette a chance even though she claims she is. Now, another person who has had experience on the show is speaking out. Season 8 husband AJ Vollmoeller is slamming Alyssa for her actions. What does he have to say? Keep reading to find out more.

MAFS husband AJ Vollmoeller slams Alyssa Ellman

Monsters and Critics shared what Season 8 husband AJ Vollmoeller had to say about Season 14 wife Alyssa Ellman. His comments about Alyssa come after she announced on the most recent episode that she wanted to move into the shared apartment so she could be around the other brides. However, Alyssa does not want her new husband Chris Collette to move in with her.

When AJ was on the season in 2019 he felt he was the victim of a bad edit. He had good chemistry with his wife, however, he was hotheaded in nature and fans criticized that. So, he initially felt bad for Alyssa having been somewhat in her shoes.

Then, AJ said he continued watching Alyssa on the show and came to another conclusion. He now thinks her attitude and portrayal have nothing to do with editing. He said, “Then I realized editing has nothing to do with it because I know how to read between the lines of editing now.”

AJ went on to say, “She came into this for the WRONG reasons and is NOT “a f*****g really good person.”

He asked his followers if they thought Alyssa was there for the right reasons or not. Most agreed that she is not there to truly find love.

AJ and Stephanie

AJ and Stephanie hit it off when they met on Married at First Sight. In fact, they had almost immediate chemistry. They decided to stay married and are still going strong. In fact, in October 2021 he proposed to her again.

He shared the engagement photos on Instagram and said, “She Said YES (to stay married to me)!!!!!!!!!! I’ve officially done all the right steps, just in the wrong order!”

While they have found love, Alyssa during Season 14 isn’t even willing to give Chris a chance and fans are furious. Many want Chris to get another chance on the show since Alyssa has seemingly ruined it all for him.

What do you think about AJ calling out Alyssa saying editing has nothing to do with how she’s being portrayed?

Don’t miss the drama as it continues on Wednesday nights on Lifetime.

  1. I agree with AJ and probably everyone else, the Alyssa is NOT a good person! I can’t believe that MAFS hasn’t pulled her out of it themselves and told Chris that they will find someone else for him. She’s HORRIBLE (and I could probably say alot of different words to use to express how I feel about her, but I’ll try to be nice).
For her to only want to be there for the friendships of the other couples is SO wrong. Shame on her!!

    1. Her mom evidently knows she is a spoiled self serving person by her statements. Get her off. She is destroying a good man.

    2. She is awful. I certainly hope Chris gets another chance at love. It does seem everyone is on to her and… Chris.. bless his heart is speaking up and calling her out on her bs. I’m proud of him as we watch this freak show on the edge of our seat, its so ridiculous it seems even scripted. I’m not so sure that MAFS set this up? I hope not because their credibility would be out the window. She is outlandish by being pissed on how he was moving his hands at the tennis courts calling him aggressive? Really? Who acts this way unless you have serious mental issues, the best thing for him is get the heck out now!! Lol

    3. SHALLOW! Alyssa is overly concerned with appearances, status, and what other people think of her. She chooses friendships and relationships based solely on looks, wealth, popularity, and her own personal gain. I’m surprised she has any friends at all. ‘m guessing that all her relationships are empty and fake.

  2. She said she was there for the experience and to be with her friends. Firstly, she does not have any friends because no one likes her. They talk to her out of courtesy. Secondly, she is not there for the marriage but for the experience. The experts have not put this show together for experience but for marriage. Therefore, she no longer qualifies and should have been put out a while ago than to put Chris through this. She is mooching for all she can get for free. No other reason.

  3. I guess we all know how this is going to end. It’s so hard to watch Chris be trashed by this awful “not a good person” that seems to be sabotaging the whole MAFS show. She signed up for this, she was told they were going to be on TV for 8 + weeks, met Chris and already hated him, she had a producer sit between them on the flight to their honeymoon. I think she called him out before he went up to bat. He’s the one that was robbed he deserves so much better then this ding dong.

  4. Most important issue here? Chris’s mental health. Chris shows his kind heart, mental and emotional maturity, and his deep desire to be wed from the very first scene. I do believe production strove to enlighten Alyssa about the edit she could expect because of her childishly self centered behavior. They filmed her temper tantrum- laced reactions both to Chris and to production, itself.
But, how much pain does the show require of Chris. He’s not acting. He is attempting to salvage his marriage as she gut punches him in every scene, each week. An intervention, was needed when Alyssa would not sit beside her husband. This marriage is very painful, perhaps triggering, to watch. Alyssa is verbally abusive. It should not be allowed.

  5. MAFS should just cut their loss and announce that if willing Chris will participating in the next season. However because it brings ratings they as well let Alyssa continue to be on the show and dig her grave deeper being a single outsider. I am sure that before long the rest of the girls will eventually see the light and exclude her from “the experience” . What I would like to see more of is the interaction between her and her family and their take on the subject.

  6. If Alissa thinks she is a nice person, then maybe she should take a long look in the mirror, and pray it doesn’t break, because if she thinks she has been nice, I would hate to see her when she is a vindictive batch. She is nothing but a selfish, spoiled, and vindictive person, and if I was Chris, I would be showing her the door and telling her to not let it hit you in the ass on the way out.
Chris is to nice, and needs to find a nice woman, and MAFS should have him back and ban Alissa.

  7. She is the worst makes me want to no longer watch this show. She is so self serving rude and is not a good person. Funny how she must repeat I’m agood person,is she trying to convince herself. She needs to be removed.

  8. Poor Chris, my heart just breaks for him. She needs to be taken off the show. Alyssa is a horrible person. I just don’t think I can continue to what this , whenever they film her and show it my blood just boils. If nothing else quit filming her for Chris’s sake so this man doesn’t have to suffer anymore

  9. I’ve read recently that if a contestant leaves the show before the 8 weeks are done they will be charged $50,000. It sounds like Alyssa wanted to get out of the marriage, even though she had no intentions of making it work with Chris after she saw him, but knew if she just walked away she’d be financially responsible. She’s trying to create the best situation for herself to fulfill that obligation even if her suggestions are crazy like splitting time in their new apartment and wanting this experience to bond with the other girls. She messed up big time by not understanding what the ramifications are if you don’t fulfill that contract. Not only the financial ramifications but the people she’s hurt along the way (Chris, Chris’ family, her own family).

    1. There have been other participants who have exited before the end of the 8 weeks. It’s kind hard to charge someone money, but payment can certainly be withheld. I suspect there’s an obligation to appear up to a certain point and probably requirement to appear at reunion episode and after party requirements.

  10. I am thrilled with AJ’s remarks! He had a successful marriage with Stephanie on Philadelphia MAFS; he knows what he’s seeing and knows the (inside works) of the show. I HOPE that the “experts” did not set up this horrible experience for Chris, to aim for fan’s viewing ” a train wreck” . Everyone is wondering about that; I would NEVER watch again, if that was the case.
Alyssa is so toxic that it makes for UNOMFORTABLE viewing for fans. Chris has been so tolerant, acts like a gentleman, and has a HUGE fan base. I agree that the show should give him another “free” season to recoup his losses; if he WANTS IT. If I were Alyssa, I would NEVER go out in public again, after this show airs. She is so despised by the public for her cruel behavior.

  11. Does she really think the rest of the ladies want her to stick around to hang out with them? They’re interested in finding a husband not a toxic B.

  12. Alyssa pathetically reiterates constantly what a “good person ” she is and how “hard I have worked”. Is this woman daft? If she is truly as spoiled and insensitive as she sounds, yea for Chris for dumping her sorry *ss. For a very generic looking girl, she certainly has a high opinion of herself!

Why did she even come on the show?

  13. I do not understand why the experts didn’t have a face to face or a video call during the honeymoon or after the 1st night when it was so obvious how toxic she is?? They stepped in much earlier on previous seasons, for a whole lot less! It seems that watching this doesn’t give her a clue, based on her walking off of the after party show too! I mean she wanted to continue filming, as evident by her idiotic thoughts of sharing the apartment half the time to each, but never together… I mean she could have said they need separate rooms & Chris would have tried!!! She never got that this is about making a marriage work at all??? Ditsy wanna be, who is mean to her core is how she looks! Chris deserves a much better partner. & I’m sure he will find her & will be very successful! God help Alyssa!

  14. I’d be surprised if anyone would want to stay married with her. She’s awful. She is not a @#$%&* good person either! She’s not all that great to look at, but the attitude is most unattractive!

  15. Chris should date toxic Alyssa’s best girlfriend. If she is available, they would be a great match!

  16. Based off the little TV interaction I saw of her she seemed chill. Put yourself in her shoes, she’s getting married on TV, for a series mind you, there’s cameras everywhere, she walks down the wedding isle to someone who she was not expecting and she can’t escape due to being in contract with some TV show. I honestly don’t blame her and she held her own better than I would have.
