Christine Brown Sends Loud & Clear Message Out To Fans
Christine Brown has a lot of people to thank for getting her through a huge transitional period in her life. At the end of Sister Wives Season 16, viewers saw the demise of her marriage to Kody Brown. Yes, it had already come to an end prior to the season airing. Yet fans were eager to see what exactly led to the downfall of the twenty-six-year marriage. It was very easy to see Christine deserved so much more and she has clearly been thriving on her own. Now, she is sending out a message that could not be any more clear.
Christine Brown’s Journey To Freedom
When she officially joined the Brown family in 1994, Christine was looked at like a princess by second wife Janelle. This came out during part two of the Season 16 tell-all which still has one more part to go. Meri admitted she had more jealousy towards Christine as wife number three. She could not explain why other than it was just more difficult as the wives piled on. As for Christine, she admittedly was the more subservient of the wives, a role fourth wife Robyn would ultimately take on.
When the original three wives and Kody lived in their one home in Utah, Christine’s quarters were in the basement. She did not realize it at the time but being a basement wife meant you were the lowest on the totem pole. Christine kept the house and raised the children. Though she loved all of this in a sense, she was worn out never thinking about herself. When she would address this with Kody, he claimed she was breaking their marital contract. Robyn came in 2010 and picked up the slack, according to Kody.
Soon, the family moved to Las Vegas and the wives had their own homes. Freedom and autonomy went hand in hand. By the time they moved to Flagstaff, the relationships were all fractured and Christine was desperate to move back to Utah where she felt wanted. Soon, Kody and Christine wanted different things so she opted for a divorce.
Christine- Ever So Grateful
Leaving a plural family and venturing out on your own can be scary. Christine Brown released her statement that she had left Kody at the beginning of November 2021. Luckily, her followers and fans of the series were happy to follow her journey to Utah. Kody’s behavior over the last handful of seasons has progressively grown worse, especially this last one. He did not accompany their daughter, Ysabel to her scoliosis surgery which would have her in the ICU for close to a week.
When Kody told Christine he no longer wanted an intimate marriage with her, that was the last straw. It was bad enough he blatantly said he was not attracted to her. Now he wanted a romance-free marriage and she was strong enough to walk away. On Friday she took to her Instagram page to thank everyone who stood by her. Wearing her long blonde hair in a bun, glasses, and an argyle sweater, Christine beamed.
She said it was simply a post to say thank you and how grateful she is while she has faced these challenges. Additionally, she is overwhelmed by all she has received. There is still one more tell-all to air and the last one ended with Robyn claiming Christine and Kody are still married.

Robyn has had Kody all to herself due to his strict covid rules. But oh , wait, she is allowed a nanny? For 2 small kids? With 3 grown up kids in the house? What nanny did Christine have while she was raising all her own and Janelle’s kids so Janelle could work? No wonder Christine felt like a basement wife. The ultimate irony is Robyn’s nanny brought covid to the family. So much for Kody’s rules aka excuses. He destroyed the family for nothing.
Kody claimed that the nanny was an acceptable risk because he required that the nanny and her husband not have contact with anyone outside of the Brown family 😆😆😆. Yeah right!!!
So I have to ask…has anyone else noted that most all of the reality shows that involve “families” fall flat on their faces, leaving the family in ruin? There’s Jon and Kate plus eight, Honey boo boo, the Duggers, Orange County Choppers, and then there’s Jazz….what a sad mess! Those are just a few that I can recall off the top of my head. For Gods sake, stop the destruction!
Kody is so Insulting to his wives. Unless he can dictate, he wants nothing to do with them. He’s obnoxious, rude, abusive, and downright insensitive.
This is not a pious religious man but rather a scoundrel.
It’s a crying shame kody gets away with so much mistreatment of his wives. I understand why they think they need to stay but why continue to take his verbal abuse and mistreatment. Let Robin stay and think he’s done no wrong. Where in the world did he get that assinine covid list and all the hell he raised over it and they still got covid from the nanny. It’s not one bit funny but it was funny. Causing all the havoc with his other wives and the one he thinks can do no wrong had her nanny bring it in. All the other wives raised their kids without having a nanny. What’s so special about Robin and not the other wives. I always thought she’d come between kody and the other wives. All those phony fake tears isn’t cutting it. Eventually the others will wake up and realize nothing is going to change. Kody needs to dig a hole and jump in it. He is more a dictator than a man or husband
I couldn’t agree more! Kody is an abusive, narcissist! I have no idea why I keep watching and want to shoot the TV after each episode lol!! Would be nice if Kody would fall flat on his face and I hope they cancel after this season! Robyn gets more whiny with each show!
The man is twisted. Incomprehensible.
Thank God Christine got out!
I have only thought this show was stupid 🙄
Women in this day and time would never agree to this idiot, ugly Pompidou creature fool.
