Why Isn’t A New Episode Of ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ On Tonight?
For several weeks now TLC viewers have had one thing to look forward to on Monday nights — a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters. Unfortunately, Discovery+ subscribers were a bit disappointed when they logged in to their streaming libraries to watch the episode early only to find it wasn’t there. Even more 1000-Lb. Sisters fans will be upset when they turn on TLC tonight and learn a new episode is not airing tonight.
Why isn’t a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters on tonight? Fortunately, the answer to this question is pretty simple. The answer, however, isn’t one you are going to like. Keep reading for the answer.
Why isn’t a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters on tonight?
For those unaware, last week’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters was the Season 3 Finale. So, the reason a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters is not on tonight is really simple. There isn’t a new episode to air. Sadly, the last new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters available aired last week.
Fans who missed the last episode or fans who need their fix can check out Discovery+ to stream all three seasons of the series.
The next big question fans have at this point is also pretty simple. Has TLC decided to renew or cancel this series? Will there be a Season 4?

More sad news for fans of 1000-Lb. Sisters as the chances of TLC renewing the series for Season 4 are looking pretty slim. Both Tammy and Amy have admitted they don’t really want to film another season of the series. Fans assumed Amy Halterman and her husband Michael getting pregnant again would increase the chances of the series getting renewed. But, Amy has been very open with the details of her pregnancy including an exact due date, plans for a c-section, the gender, and the name.
If 1000-Lb. Sisters was getting renewed for Season 4, it is unlikely Amy Halterman would be allowed to reveal this much information about her pregnancy. As fans remember from Season 2, the details of Gage including when he was born and what he looked like were kept under lock and key until the episode featuring his birth aired.

Please don’t stop the 1000lb Sisters
I love watching the 1000lbs sisters and was upset no episode this week and I hope they dont cancel it. This family is so real and love everything abt this show. I believe Tammy can do it this time and I would love to continue to see her, Amy and chris end results. Also I love Dr. Smith. He is such a caring and handsome doctor. Please dont cancel show.
I agree with what was said, BUT I am so sick and tired of Tammy whining and complaining that no body cares about her. I say stick her butt in a facility where she can’t get out and lose enough weight so she can have the Surgery. Maybe then she would appreciate her family.
Obviously you don’t understand what depression can do to a person. I’m someone who has suffered with depression since I was six years old and I understand no matter how much you love your family pushing them away feels better than letting them know you’re hurting. One reason could be you feel like you’re a burden. Idk Tammy’s reason but they are her reason and thank God she’s getting help for herself. No I’m not overweight. Just tired of people sitting behind the screen with so much negativity towards this young lady.
OMG that is so real and hits home, I even take medicine for depression and I still battle with it. I even have a hard time taking to my Dr about it because I feel if I tell her I would be letting her down.

Yes, I’m very concerned and anxious to see Tammy’s results. Would like to see Amy and Chris to continue their journey too. Amy has not met her goal at all. Please come with a season 4. I too am so sick and tired of Tammy’s whining & moaning. I’m tired of how she treat Amy she is so demanding & NEVER says thank you. She is very lazy! She won’t even walk 50 steps a day. I agree, throw her butt into a food therapy program & not let her leave. Kind of like a 5150, a psych hold the patient can’t leave unless a family member agrees to let them leave.
I love and look forward to watching Amy, Tammy and the whole family. Tammy needs to stop whining and get serious about her weight. She can do this!!! Would love watching her progress along with Amy’s new baby coming. A lot of my family and friends enjoy watching this every week. Please Don’t cancel!!!!

Come on Myrna, cut Tammy some slack. Yes, what we have seen makes Tammy look bad, but when the series started she had been house bound for 6 years. That would screw me up. If she got the right therapist and went in private, that could make a big difference.

I am saddened that there may no longer be any more seasons of 1000 lb sisters. Have looked forward to watching each ones journey, the good and the bad. Maybe consider 1000 lb family? If not Tammy and Amy, bring back Chris and his journey? Or even Amanda. Whatever decision that is made, I truly wish them all the best.
1000 family is a GREAT idea… I love Chris, Amanda, and Misty, and Amy… I wish the best for Tammy but she is so negative and rude and ungrateful to the people that have been trying to help her for so long… she needs to work on herself and they can give updates on how she’s doing but there are so many great storylines for the rest of the family. I’d rather not watch 1000 lb sisters, the show is getting to be a freak show, that whole family is very strange, as far as any of their weight loss surgery, I think it was done for ratings on the show not for them, none of them have followed an exercise program or diet.

I’m hopeful that it’s going to be renewed even if it’s just with a different maybe station or something like that because Tammy recently said that she’s under contract and she can’t show anything from basically the upper chest down she can’t show because of the contract so she can’t let us know if she’s lost or gained weight so she definitely has a contract somewhere unless I misunderstood something

Wow, aren’t you a bundle of joy and optimism and empathy and hope. Some of us love the show and really like to watch them and their progress. We’re all concerned about Tammy and hope to see her on her way to a much healthier life.
Actually at her size 100 pounds can be dropped pretty fast on the right diet or while on life support as she was. The larger you are the more you can lose in a month. I had a friend on life support for 3 weeks and lost 40 pounds and maybe weighed 200 pounds not 600!

I love this family and want sooo much to see Tammy and Amy get to 150 lbs. each. I know it’s possible because I did it. My life changed more than I ever could have imagined! It’s REAL LIFE girls. Don’t leave until you’ve experienced it or you will be truly missing out.

I can understand how the cameras are intrusive and that the family may have had enough of being attractions.
Tammy, in particular, was caught on film with all her personal mistakes in relationships, in her difficulties communicating, and her failures in her search for approval for surgery. I suppose there’s only so much embarrassment one can tolerate.
I wish the family well, and I also hope that Tammy eventually finds a therapist that can help her with her emotional problems. I also hope to hear that she has lost efficient weight to obtain her weight loss surgery.
Perhaps when Tammy has achieved these goals, she will allow the cameras back into her life. Until then, we can pray for her and her success.

I do not know what to think. I read about the show sometimes. It is too hard to watch Tammy anymore. I saw recently that she says she drinks 8 fifths of liquor a week, if I recall correctly. She keeps having health scares and I just do not think she is OK mentally and I doubt she can think well enough as far as IQ to take care of herself. If the sisters feel enough is enough, who am I to argue? I certainly wish everybody good luck. It is depressing to realize how much they are going to need it.
I really would like to see another season of 1000lb sisters just because they are down to earth people who aren’t trying to be someone that they aren’t they are humble they are people that you can relate to

I enjoy watching the sisters. I do understand Amy wanting to spend the time with her kids and husband rather than filming so I get that. Would love to see the new baby and Tammy’s progress. Want her to get healthy she is so young and will be able to have a happier healthy life after loosing weight. So many things and places she can’t go and do being this big. I wish them all the best.

The last episode of 1000 sisters was the best one yet….Tammy was even nice through the whole episode….I heard she has lost 200 lbs now… Amy is doing great chris finally got his dream suit…Amanda is an angel….even the mom cried told Tammy how proud she always was of her….finally after watching all the sh$$ they have gone through all these years…you finally have a show worth watching and you cut it…not fair …just saying..

If TLC cancels 1000 lb Sisters, my family will stop watching any TLC programming. I looked at previews for 1000 lb Best Friend’s, it’s just a copycat version of 1000 lb Sisters. It doesn’t have the same vibe that Amy & Tammy have, there is no Chris. Definitely not interested in the new show! TLC bring Amy & Chris back! Add Tammy if you must, just bring them back!!
I would enjoy seeing another season for MANY reasons. First, it’s nice to finally see Tammy taking initiative on her own, no one dragging her. She seemed sincere about wanting to go back to rehab and really trying hard. She is now a standout, the only one in the family without the surgery, and perhaps she feels left behind now.
Overall, I know she likes attention, and doing this work will bring more people around her and if approved for surgery, the family may have a real shot of being a healthy functional family. Food will always be a trigger for all of them. Learning to come together, and watching relationships grow is.something I want to see and believe it’s possible. We want to see Gage walk, see Amy get back on track, and see Mike finish his goal. As well as watch and encourage Tammy.
Don’t leave us viewers to wonder if everything ever turned out OK, is Tammy alive, how’s Gage’s diet now and how’s the new family in the house? These are real people!

I love the show and want the best for each and every one of them. I always hope Tammy will find the strength and courage to move forward even thou she can be a drama queen because of her unhappiness. She has a problem called food addition that apparently has been going on for years untreated. I also enjoy amy and most especially Chris. He is a big brother we all wish we had.

I became much more interested in their brother’s journey and his progress….Tammy’s journey was heart wrenching but she appeared to me to not want her family or us to concern ourselves with her and let her I’ve her own life…maybe all us looking in is just what she doesn’t need…..Amy’s pregnancy is great news for her…..besides they both seem to be active on social media and maybe that is the way they want us into their lives….just saying…..I wish them all my very best.

Come on Myrna, cut Tammy some slack. Yes, what we have seen makes Tammy look bad, but when the series started she had been house bound for 6 years. That would screw me up. If she got the right therapist and went in private, that could make a big difference.

What a great show! The girls are likable, as you can read from the responses people love these girls and obviously do not want them canceled – please leave them on! As a Registered Dietitian and Registered Nurse, I can tell you their pain is real, and God bless them for airing their pain on air. I want to be a part of their recovery. Please leave them on they are so helpful to people struggling with weight loss. I look forward to seeing them each week. We know Tammy has a trach and lost 115 pounds, but we are so interested to see how she is doing after rehab. Is Amy pregnant again? Love this family. Always hoping for the best for both women and their families. They are like friends. I would be very disappointed with tlc if they let all the fans down. Especially during this pandemic when some of your only new friends are the ones you make as you watch shows like the sisters.

Season 4? Hell yes please! I watched the new best friends show and the two are just Amy and Tammy substitutes ( one had the surgery but her weight loss is stalled and the other wants the surgery but continues to eat bad food and doesn’t lose weight) and not nearly as interesting!
I like everything about this show except Tammy’s choice of online friends. I love Chris, he seems to be a great guy, and an awesome reality star. Amanda and Misty are really good too. I think that if Tammy and Amy want out of the show, Chris, Amanda, and Misty could keep it going by themselves, without Amy and Tammy. I would miss them both, but I’d still watch the show. Please don’t take it off the air!

I love this show! They live in the County i was born n raised in! They are truly down to earth country people! Unlike other ‘reality’ TV shows where a lot is just fake drama, its not so with this show! Absolutely love watching them while family. They were raised dirt poor and survived many struggles, but kept their humor and family ties! I do not like the news show as those friends are loud n phony! I still have family back in Webster County so I am sure i will still be able to check on how they are all doing but it won’t be the same as watching them on TV every week! I was amazed when I saw the house Amy bought a I recognized it right away! I have family n friends in Union County too! Please let us have another season!

I would like a season 4 consisting of Amy and her little family’s life and the brothers life. I feel like it’s bad for Tammy’s physical and mental health (along with the viewers mental health) to continue to film her. I’m sure she’s encouraged in one way or another to continue harmful behaviors while filming and its toxic to her, her family, and viewers. Maybe a quick Check-in with her occasionally but I feel anyway, that would be more than enough of Tammy as far as the show.
