Fans are excited to see what South Park Season 25 will bring

South Park Season 25 is going to consist of six episodes right off the bat. It’s possible that creators Trey Parker and Matt Sone will add more episodes to the season. However, they could also just move onto Season 26 after Season 25 wraps up.

Season 25 kicks off with an episode entitled “Pajama Day” and is currently available to stream on HBO Max.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen new South Park episodes, but you can rest easy knowing that there will definitely be more. Comicbook confirms that Parker and Stone signed a deal with ViacomCBS that guarantees at least six more South Park seasons.

“Comedy Central has been our home for 25 years and we’re really happy that they’ve made a commitment to us for the next 75 years,” Stone and Parker said in a press release. “When we came to ViacomCBS with a different way to produce the show during the pandemic, Chris (McCarthy), Nina (Diaz), Keyes (Hill-Edgar), and Tanya (Giles) were immediately supportive and enabled us to try something new that turned out to be really well received. We can’t wait to get back to doing traditional South Park episodes but now we can also try out new formats. It’s great to have partners who will always take a chance with us.”

What can we expect from the season this year?

The South Park Season 25 premiere already aired on Comedy Central. But in case you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, beware. We’re going to dive into some spoilers here.

If you haven’t had a chance to look at a preview of “Pajama Day” yet, you can do that here:

It’s Pajama Day at South Park Elementary, but the PC Principal revoked the 4th grade class’s privileges. They had another incident with Mr. Garrison and PC Principal took away their Pajama Day rights as punishment.

In usual South Park fashion, things blow way out of proportion. Cartman’s mom tries to alert the media so no kids can wear pajamas to school. And then all the adults start wearing pajamas to work in protest.

If you did have a chance to catch the season premiere, what did you think? What do you think the rest of South Park Season 25 will hold? Keep following us online for more television news. We’ll do our best to keep you informed.
