‘Catfish: The TV Show’ Not On This Week & Here’s Why
MTV fans were in for a bit of a disappointment last night when they flipped on their televisions to watch a new episode of Catfish: The TV Show only to realize a new episode was not on this week. Where was Season 8, Episode 55 titled “Emma and Ej”? Was the new episode of Catfish scheduled to air on a different day or at a different time? What’s going on?
As big fans of MTV’s Catfish, here at TVShowsAce we were pretty disappointed when we realized there wasn’t a new episode of Catfish on our DVR this morning! So, we decided to do a little digging. Why didn’t a new episode of the MTV series air last night? More importantly, when would the next episode of the series come on?
Why didn’t a new episode of Catfish: The TV Show air last night?
Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any information regarding why a new episode of Catfish didn’t air last night. Technically, yesterday was Groundhog Day. But, that usually isn’t a big enough deal for networks to bump episodes out of fear of losing views. So, we decided to check out the TV Guide and see what aired in place of Catfish last night. Turns out, MTV aired a new episode of South Park last night. Reruns of Ridiculousness aired after the 30-minute episode of South Park.
Turns out, there wasn’t some big alternative showing in place of Catfish last night. So, it is possible they just needed another week to put the finishing touches on the production of the episode. Either way, the episode wasn’t on last week and it was pretty disappointing!
When will Season 8, Episode 55 air?
So, when will Catfish: The TV Show Season 8, Episode 55 titled “Emma and Ej” air? Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait too long for a new episode of Catfish. According to the TV Guide, a new episode of the series is scheduled to air next week. In fact, the synopsis promises an explosive episode involving a dangerous stalker.
Emma is in over her head after an online relationship with college football player EJ turns into a dangerous stalker who won’t leave her alone! Will Nev and Kamie be able to help Emma find and stop EJ before he goes too far?”
